After the 145.0 update when I start Firefox both the menu bar and the top bar with the exit icon are missing. This is the first issue I've had since using Firefox when the new revision was in the 20's. Per some quick Support research, I press F 11 twice (NOT once) to restore the screen to include the top bar with exit icon and menu bar with my Windows task bar showing (as normal for the past 2 decades). When I close out Firefox in less than full screen mode and then start up Firefox again, it properly includes both the top bar with exit icon and the menu bar. HOWEVER, if I close Firefox in full screen and then restart, I am missing the top icon bar and menu bar... again. Press F11 twice and the bars are back to square one. HOW DO I FIX THIS SO I DON'T HAVE TO PRESS F11 TWICE ON EVERY STARTUP TO RESTORE MY SCREEN?????? WHY DID YOUR RECENT UPDATE CHANGE MY SCREEN SETTINGS?????

Image below shows "nothing" Un-responsive but for closing. Had malware bytes and avast. Deleted both. Uninstalled/reinstalled Thunderbird twice. Same problem (attachment) Can't identify those little symbols across browser. Do0es't work at all. Any suggestions appreciated Robert

Does Firefox provide firewall and/or security programs for my computer running on Windows 7? I cannot buy a new computer and want to make sure I am protected - my updates are up to date and I have had faith in Firefox. Otherwise, can I use an ADD-on to do the job? I have been unable to sign into my bank account online (on this computer) . Been prompted to update my browser (Chrome, Safari, Forefox, Microsoft Edge), I checked my Firefox version, says up to date. Still unable to access. Spent hours frustrated. Please help. thank you so much

Every so often a message pops up that a folder can't be compacted because it's in use.

I don't understand why TB bothers users with this message. Compacting folders is supposed to be invisible to the user. It'll get compacted eventually, so no user action is required.

If I'm missing something, please educate me.

And if not, what's the best chance of getting it removed? Should I submit a bug report and argue that it's a bug in the design? Is a suggestion likely to do anything?

I just installed Fedora KDE Plasma, and have been trying to launch Firefox, but it keeps completely freezing.

I have tried installing through snap, flatpak and fedoras database, most recently I installed from the tar.xz on the website, and tried launching in safe mode. All of these result in the same behavior.

I have really liked using the "refresh" button with my Firefox browser. The "refresh" button has disappeared from one of my two Dell PC's (I use Windows Eleven, and my Dell PC's have solid state drive). I know there are two other "help" buttons ("troubleshoot mode" and "clear startup cache"). The "refresh" button has really helped me to keep my Firefox browser working properly with my two Dell PC's. Thank you for any comments you might have about this.

I quite often get this message, though it tends not to be a problem later "Unable to write the email to the mailbox. Make sure the file system allows you write privileges, and you have enough disk space to copy the mailbox"

One of the solutions seems to be Compact a File. How do I do this?

When I add attachments when replying to emails, the file icons on those attachments don't display. This only happens when replying, the file icons display when receiving emails. Have tried many things to fix this including using ChatGTP with no luck. What can I do to fix this?

I am using the latest TB build, 144.0.1and have only the British dictionary as an extension, no themes.

Occasionally TB will hang when launched and the Windows event viewer will show this....(added image)_

as noted, this only happens when the email client is launched and will not happen each time. I have tried without the dictionary, as it is so random it can take a while to occur, but that does not seem to make a difference.

For one year that I have been working in the "shadows" on my version of US+Canada+Australian, to be released on 1-JAN-2026.

Can I add your list of proper names (~5000 words) to my dictionaries and release the dictionaries as LGPL?
