Thunderbird will no longer save sent emails to my SENT folder. I get an error message when I send an e-mail saying, "Your message was sent but a copy was not placed in our sent folder(Sent) due to network or file access errors. You can retry or save the message locally to Local Folders/Sent-using my email address. Cox Communications is my ISP and they say the problem is not theirs.

Is there a way to search ALL emails for everything received in the last 1 day, last 3 days etc, whether or not the folder is subscribed?

I just had a big problem finding particular new emails. The reason was that that somehow the folder had got unsubscribed. This shocked me because I hadn't even realised I needed to subscribe to folders to search them.

In a practical sense the problem is therefore fully solved and all I need to do is to make sure I'm subscribed to everything. But I find it disturbing that anything could undermine the very simple search of what emails I received today. So I'd like to understand if there is indeed any way to see all of today's emails without any exception.

The search I was using was "Age in days in less than 2" and I was doing this both with "Run search on server" ticked and unticked. The emails are all there on the server, so surely there must be a way to see them in a raw naked state before they are sorted into folders? I guess the global search is able to do just that, but as far as I can see it doesn't seem able to search by any kind of date range (can filter but not search).

For some reason anything above 1080p gives me bad stuttering but on other channels videos don't stutter or freeze when playing 1440p or 4K quality.

Firefox is updated, I don't use Extensions other than Ad Blocker and I have that off on YouTube anyway. Seems strange that it'd only affect one specific channel.

I have a very good gaming PC too so the hardware isn't the issue.

New install of Firefox set up with a 'wrong' email account. Tried to use the 'Mozilla account' page to fix this by using secondary email and then making it primary. But the secondary email I want to use is not allowed by Firefox giving an 'Account already exists' error. What should I do?

When I open Firefox and want to go to Private. I go to the three lines at the top right of the Firefox page. I go down to Private. Then after selecting it, YET ANOTHER REGULAR FIREFOX PAGE OPENS. I NEVER had this problem until the start of 2024.

Please help as I used to have FIREFOX PRIVATE as my go to browser. Now, I use others and they do not work with some pages.

On my Win 7 box, Thunderbird seems to be having access issues with my profiles. It can only find my profiles when running in administrator mode. I've tried resetting security info on several files, but have not found the right one. How can I find the culprit?

A couple of months ago, I suddenly lost all my saved bookmarks, plus the ones on my toolbar. Strange thing is, all the folders and sub-folders I created are still there, they're just all empty.

Can I get them back somehow? I've been collecting them for years so can't replace them all!

I was using the previous version of Thunderbird (115.10.0) (64-bit), which was crashing upon exit. I tried to update by clicking on Help and About Thunderbird, but it didn't automatically update to the newer version (115.10.1 (64-bit)). So the instructions I followed was do download the new version. However, when I open the new version, all my email accounts and calendars are missing. How do I restore my old profile?

I have played "Hero Wars,Dominion Era " for years on Fire Fox...They did an "update" last week(Thursday or friday 04/25-26?24)and I haven't been able to log onto the game itself since...I can still open the Hero wars home page,I can get into my "discord" chat etc etc etc,but I cannot get into my individual game.(If it helps,my Hero wars game ID # is 10920140)...I had to start playing the game itself on Google Chrome...I am hopeing you can help find a solution as everything I do is from Fire Fox & I really don't like chrome :(...PLEASE Help me resolve this if possible! My name is Grey, and I'm experiencing an issue using Firefox as a browser to open my Outlook mail. For the past three days I have not been able to open any emails as a network error screen appears. Using other devices and other browsers like Edge, the emails open fine, so it is not actually a network issue. This problem only occurs using Firefox, and specifically with Outlook emails. Everything else functions fine and I have not made any changes, besides the regular Firefox update. My computer is also up to date.

What can I do about this issue? I appreciate the advice,

I'm using Firefox 124.0.2 (64 bit) on Windows, and every few days I get the error about using an older version of Firefox, with Exit or Create New Profile options. I then run "firefox -allow-downgrade" from the command prompt and everything works fine... for a few days, when it happens all over again. This only started happening a couple of weeks ago, but it's getting really annoying. How do I stop it (short of using something like Waterfox or Brave).

I am able to start FF with no problem. I open a few tabs and then without warning I can't access any of the sites without closing FF and restarting. Then the whole cycle is repeated. I am considering getting rid of FF this started just over a month ago.

Comcast/Xfinity is binning email sent from Thunderbird to yahoo, gmail or hotmail

This problem started on April 24.

I have compared the Mozilla info at the front of emails sent to my wife before and after April 24. The only differences other than Subject and content are:

I'm using the latest version of THUNDERBIRD for WINDOWS (now 10 HOME), but this problem has existed for years with previous versions of THUNDERBIRD and former releases of WINDOWS, both HOME & PRO releases. And, it seems to be very specific. When i receive e-mails from (especially) 2 friends who both use AOL as their e-mail client, when I receive them, the imaged files (or memes) are always 'converted into attachments, and what shows in the Body Text of the e-mails is empty boxes. Yet, when I get e-mails from others, including from commercial sources, if there are images within the Body Text, they are present there. This IS very annoying because many times the e-mails I get from these two friends are technical e-mails, with clarifying images as part of the Body Text. When I have mentioned this to them, their responses are that n one else complains, only me, and so the problem MUST BE at my end, but that doesn't make sense, since when I receive e-mails from others (Gmail, etal.) any included images are fully where they belong. ++++++++++++++++++++ Secondly, WHY is it that when there are threaded e-mails in the Sent folder, the ARROW to expand the thread appears at the left side, but in the Delete folder the ARROW appears between the title of the e-mail & the next column? This IS very annoying!!!! Also, when I'm in the DELETE folder, sometimes only two options appear at the right side: Archive Delete, BUT in other incidences, there's a plethora of alternative options, and the Delete option is positioned in a different place. More often than not, I click on the option to send it e-mail to the Archive folder, when I really wanted to Delete it permanently. Another major annoyance!!!! Thank you robert herold

Why aren't pull-down menus, behaving consistently, on Firefox on an M1-Max Mac on macOS Sonoma ?

The pulldown-menus don't persist, long-enough to click-upon a selection .

I use Firefox as my browser but since yesterday I am unable to use it. Each time I click on the firefox icon I am directed to a French Microsoft browser - are you able to help?
