I cannot dismiss calendar invites sent to me from others on the Ubuntu platform. I can dismiss invites that I have initiated. FYI this doesn't seem to be the case on the windows release - I can dismiss "foreign" invites.

The only way to dismiss these invites is to delete them from my calendar (which I prefer not to do). Thanks.

When I open Firefox and want to go to Private. I go to the three lines at the top right of the Firefox page. I go down to Private. Then after selecting it, YET ANOTHER REGULAR FIREFOX PAGE OPENS. I NEVER had this problem until the start of 2024.

Please help as I used to have FIREFOX PRIVATE as my go to browser. Now, I use others and they do not work with some pages.

Please help as it is frustrating to keep getting a new Regular page.

is there any way (other than the one plugin I found that did not work for some reason) to adjust firefox' general brightness (or that of an individual tab) ?

Also changing my monitors brightness would not work for me as I am trying to test a website I develop (using firefox to visualize it) and it is rather just the large difference between my editor (which's brightness you can not adjust) and the browser that is very unpleasent when I switch back and forth (like when trying to fix a bug).

Every time I open Firefox another blank window opens behind the main Firefox pages . I see it when I close Firefox so have to close that too. There is no URL in the window just a blank page.

Thunderbird will not start. Message Can't Load XPCOM. Windows 10. Have uninstalled and reinstalled Thunderbird multiple times. No change. Have deleted the Thunderbird folder in Program Files and reinstalled Thunderbird. No change.

When i click ctrl only ctrl its maeks tab smaller like ctrl + - but i only press ctrl also when i hold scroll i can smooth surf the tab now it dont work what i have to do?

I am running Thunderbird on Linux Fedora. I have two accounts set up. One of them is an icloud account. Every day, many times per day, it prompts for password. I have a nightmare to get one for it due to the new way Apple deals with stuff like this. I have to get an 'App Specific Password', which involves logging in, which I hate doing and doesn't work because I use a VPN and Apple discriminates against VPN users and locks my account every time i login (even though it's the same IP address every time).

I did manage to generate one, which got rid of the problem for a day or two, then it came back, generated again, and so I go around, each time having to unlock icloud account, remove old password, generate a new one, paste it into TB and then its fine for a few hours/days.

Would be very grateful for any ideas why this is happening and how to cure it.

Firefox on my pc loads Ebay.com with Chinese characters, not English.

This ONLY happens on PC (mobile phone is fine, same firefox browser) only with firefox (Duck Duck Go on my pc works fine) and ONLY when opening Ebay.

Problem started 4/29. I have done: computer update/restart, firefox update/restart, clear cache in firefox

I am able to start FF with no problem. I open a few tabs and then without warning I can't access any of the sites without closing FF and restarting. Then the whole cycle is repeated. I am considering getting rid of FF this started just over a month ago.

I'm using Firefox 124.0.2 (64 bit) on Windows, and every few days I get the error about using an older version of Firefox, with Exit or Create New Profile options. I then run "firefox -allow-downgrade" from the command prompt and everything works fine... for a few days, when it happens all over again. This only started happening a couple of weeks ago, but it's getting really annoying. How do I stop it (short of using something like Waterfox or Brave).

I have played "Hero Wars,Dominion Era " for years on Fire Fox...They did an "update" last week(Thursday or friday 04/25-26?24)and I haven't been able to log onto the game itself since...I can still open the Hero wars home page,I can get into my "discord" chat etc etc etc,but I cannot get into my individual game.(If it helps,my Hero wars game ID # is 10920140)...I had to start playing the game itself on Google Chrome...I am hopeing you can help find a solution as everything I do is from Fire Fox & I really don't like chrome :(...PLEASE Help me resolve this if possible! Hi, like other users on this help service, I recently lost the ability to send smtp gmails on one specific gmail account, but receiving emails was OK. Every attempt to send brought a "send failed - enter new password" dialog box. I looked at a great number of "solutions" before I found one which almost worked, but I have modified/clarified it and post it here for others to try. First off, look at passwords in Settings, and check that you have an 0Auth2 password - very long and not anything you chose. Then go to Server settings, scroll down the left hand pane past all the accounts listed until you find "Outgoing Server (SMTP) and click on it. This lists your outgoing SMTP accounts. Highlight the one for the account which is not sending and click on "Edit" Change the authentication method to 0Auth2. OK your way back. Now go back to your displayed passwords and copy the 0Auth2 password from the incoming password box and paste it in the SMTP password box for the problem account. Now close TB and restart. When I did all this, it began to send emails again. Hope it helps someone else.

I've set up a second profile to keep my personal and work browsing separate. When I reopen my non-default profile, it doesn't restore the previous session's tabs. I have "open previous windows and tabs" checked under Settings > General > startup in both profiles. Please advise.

Today i got email about comment notification from my website visitor. According to the user, one of the page Life with the Tribe Game Download of my website is taking too much time to downloading. I just copy the page link and analyze on different browser, i found that page is loading too much slowly on firefox. On the other browsers, it was loading instantly. Any solution?

Netflix all of a sudden wont work on firefox after update. still works on edge and my computer in other room which has an update firefox popup that i have not done yet. i reset drm already. it wont even sign in through firefox. i was on the phone with netflix for an hour they said use chrome which i hate or edge which is equally horrible but both work just not firefox. f7111-1957-205002 this code popped once. never had this kind of problem before. i already cleared cash and redownloaded firefox and all that jazz.

When logging into an account there are multiple usernames (incorrect or older.) I would like to remove or delete them, but keep the current passwords.

Is that possible without deleting the account?
