There is no option for message headers under View. How can I see email message headers in Thunderbird?

I Googled how to do this but they all say there is an option in the main menu under View. Maybe at some point there was, but not now. So how can I see the email headers?

We still use some Dell 13g servers equipped with idrac 8. When I'm trying to launch the virtual Console the window opens up but nothing shows. This used to work fine in previous versions of Firefox. I can't tell from which version it stopped but it's not long ago. Also idrac 9 console works fine in Firefox When trying to open console idrac 8 in Chrome it works fine Any idea what could be causing it? Any config switch to tweak?

A blank survey pops up in my homepage each time I open Firefox, I haven't filled it yet since I don't know what it entails and what it is about. There is no option to close it either, and it seems bugged as it isn't going away even after updating the version of Firefox, it is still present on 125.0.2 version. Kindly assist regarding the same. I have attached a picture of the same herewith.

I'm using the OneTab add-on, Enabled. The icon no longer shows on the Toolbar, though it is on the Menu bar next to Firefox View.

I ran Remove and then Added it again, hoping the Toolbar Icon would reappear = no go, And I lost all URLs already saved, stupid me. To be clear, clicking the Icon on the Toolbar saves all open tabs.

Is there a fix via Preferences? Thanks. gw

Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren, ich mußte leider Thunderbird neu installieren und seit dem erscheinen Nachrichten nur noch in seperaten Fenstern. Normalerweise war die Darstellung 2geteilt: Oben die Nachrichten und unten die Inhalte. Wie stell ich das wieder her?

First time posting here, so I'm hoping that someone can help me out.

I'm encountering a very odd issue on my Macbook Pro running MacOS Sonoma 14.4. I am unable to access two sites – allrecipes.com, and seriouseats.com on my home WiFi network on the Macbook.

These sites work on other browsers (tested on Safari and Chrome), and they also work on my iPhone.

Oddly, when I went to work and tried to access these sites via WiFi using Firefox, I was able to.

I am unsure what the problem is – the ability to access these sites on Safari, Chrome, and my iPhone at home suggests that it's not a network issue. I haven't encountered this issue with any other sites.

Hello, I am trying to send emails from my iCloud account and it always fails due to the SMTP server timing out. I've tried making a new app-specific password, deleting and re-adding the account in Thunderbird, and made sure the authentication settings are right, but it still doesn't work. I can connect to the IMAP server just fine.

If I Forward and email with a list of cc: addresses, will the Forwarded emails be sent to the cc: addresses also or do I need to enter a new list of cc: addresses?

Hi, I am running Thunderbird v. 115.9.0 on Windows 10 on my desktop. I have been forced by Rogers in Canada to migrate my internet service from their legacy internet service to Rogers Ignite with its Ignite (Comcast) gateway. My email accounts were supposed to be migrated automatically, but, for reasons unknown, were not, and a tech support representative had to migrate them from the old legacy service to Ignite. After that was done, I opened Thunderbird, and was asked to authenticate my 2 Rogers/Yahoo email accounts, one of which is my primary account, the other a secondary account. I was asked to authenticate the secondary account first, which went well. I then clicked on my primary account in the left-hand pane and was again asked to authenticate, but the dialogue box showed it was for the secondary account. Thinking that this secondary account authentication was just being repeated for no particular reason, and not thinking that the email address in the authentication request box could be changed, I clicked Agree. My primary account is now showing the exact same emails as are listed in the secondary account, and I'm extremely concerned that I will not be able to recover all of the thousands of emails in my primary account, many of which are business-related. When I log into my primary account on the Rogers/Yahoo mail website, the emails in the primary account are still showing, so I know they are still on the Rogers IMAP server. However, I really want to continue to use my primary account on Thunderbird. I'm not sure if I should delete the primary account and recreate it - the Rogers support tech said that deleting the account may result in an issue where my current password for a re-created primary account may not be recognized, so I'm leaving things as they are until I hear back. It the advice is to not delete and recreate the account, what steps can I take to recover the emails on my primary account in Thunderbird. I recently updated to 125.0.1 and now get 'failed to check for updates': - when I manually check (help > about Firefox) (see image) - in 'settings' it also shows 'failed to check for updates' (see image) I never had such a problem with previous versions; any suggestions?

I just switched to Windows 10 from Windows 7. Firefox was working fine, but now many or most pages are garbled; see screen-capture fragments at http://www.fenichel.net/firefox/. I tried a new Firefox 64-bit, but it crashed on most pages.

There are two "bad email" files in Thunderbird: JUNK and SPAM. I'm still not clear on the difference.

For JUNK mail, TB gives us the option to select "NOT JUNK". Good.

But for SPAM, I cannot find the option "NOT SPAM"

1) Why are there separate SPAM and JUNK directories? And why are they managed differently? This seems terribly non-intuitive and inconsistent and just strange.

2) How can I train SPAM filter to not flag good email from trusted senders? For instance, I get email from my wife many times a day for many years. Today, TB put her email into SPAM. Isn't there a simple command to "white list" a sender's email address?

Is there a way to enable sounds when the built in pop-up blocker blocks a pop-up or make the banner more noticeable? I often dont realize a pop-up has been blocked and cant figure out why I' not getting the new content

I have .menu-right { filter: invert(100%) !important; but it only turns the arrows white in some locations but not in the bookmarks menu and not in the right-click menu.

I've been trying out Thunderbird and Spark for the past few weeks, and decided to go with Thunderbird to replace Windows Mail. After uninstalling Spark, I changed all my email passwords, and now Thunderbird can't connect. I deleted my Google and Xfinity email accounts from Thunderbird, then closed and reopened the program, but I'm still getting this error from Google when I fill in the credential info it automatically asks for when re-adding it to my account:

"400. That’s an error.

The server cannot process the request because it is malformed. It should not be retried. That’s all we know."

On the "set up your existing email address" page in Thunderbird, I'm getting this error (see image), even though the copy/pasted password works fine when logging directly into Google.

I also can't reconnect to Xfinity at all. The 3rd party box is checked in their system, but when Thunderbird tries to connect, it looks like it's auto-filling and submitting a password on my behalf, without stopping on that screen so I can change it.

Hello, I have problem with firefox. When I try download from facebook page files .docx, .xlsx (Microsoft Office) Firefox automatically download it as PDF and file is broken. I don't know how to repair this. Please help, it is very frustrating.
