Every time I try to add a search engine (the one I’m trying now is “wiki.pokemoncentral.it”) Firefox on my 6th generation iPad with iPadOS 15.6 (latest version) crashes, and it does that even with my iPhone Xr. I don’t know what to do, I think it’s a bug or something like that. Please Mozilla, if there isn’t any solution I can do, fix it.

I’m unable to add any additional search engines. App crashes every time. I’ve also uninstalled the app and reinstalled to see if that changed anything…. It did not. Any help would be appreciated

For a while I kept getting that Firefox crashed after I opened the browser. I deleted it and uploaded the latest version added Adblock plus but I can’t see Adblock plus in my extensions for Firefox iOS.

Also, can we use duckduckgo mail in FF?

I have being using this particular browser for a long time. It worked for me very smoothly. However, since in the recent past I was faced with bad browsing behaviours. Delayance,crashes, and failures among others. Kindly advise?

Hey, Since I've updated my ipad to the newest os (15.7) my Firefox got really slow and buggy. Often it simply crashes once it's loading a page. I am not be able to use my enpass password manager anymore too... It simply won't show the keyboard once I want to log into anything. A look in the reviews section of the app store shows me I am not alone.

What's going on? I am using Firefox on so many devices but not on my ipad it's just not usable anymore.

My firefox has been crashing for the past 2 hours, tried troubleshoot mode but it is still crashing every other second.

On some websites the tabs are not crashing- example mozilla website. On other websites (Twitch) -reddit it is crashing.

Today (20-10-2022) mozilla show some changes in layout with infos about that change. Mostly is mozilla icon in top left corner. But now the app just keeps failling. 4 tabs open and freezes. youtube can take one song to the end without several stops (hiccups) or stop completely. And it gets to slow to open a new page or simply doesn't open and i get a message that mozilla is not responding.

Firefox used to be my go to browser in all my devices. But since the latest updates, it has been buggy and slow to the point of not being an option anymore. I have seen that there are many reviews in the AppStore pointing to this, but seems that they go unnoticed. And the fact that you have to actually go through a series of hops to get support is unbearable. There are many examples of how the application’s performance has been degraded: - when switching to another app (i.e. notepad) and then coming back, it freezes for some 20 seconds before it crashes altogether - when opening a new tab, if you want to access the menu (some call it the “burger” menu on the upper right corner), the app takes almost a full minute before displaying it. - sometimes even opening a new tab, it takes forever to respond to the keyboard entry.

Hopefully in some future versions all these issues get fixed but for now, it has been a total buggy experience.

Firefox is my primary browser. As soon as I try to play any video it freezes / crashes. It is also doing it using other browsers. I have tried all troubleshooting steps online. I have deleted and updated drivers. no change.

I use this for more than 5 years on iOS, but the last 2-3 versions became horrible. On iPhone XR with iOS 15, the app stops working if I swipe down the control center and go back to the app. When I start the app, the most visited sites and their icons are flashing for 1-2 secs, and some sites are really slow (it is hard to scroll, it almost freezes). Every time I launch Firefox for iOS on my iPhone or iPad the app either crashes or hangs. I am using “old” Apple products both operating on iOS 15.7. Crashing occurs pretty much every time now I open the app (version Firefox 106.0 (20303)). I usually only have a handful of tabs open at any time so I don’t think my browsing habits are the cause? I have also noticed “flickering” between the shortcuts on my Firefox homepage - the name or icon for a few of the shortcuts switches around like some kind of identity crisis - so something is obviously glitching. The app hanging occurs when I am entering login/password details. Sometimes it takes 20 seconds to progress from the username field to the password field but more often the app just hangs and I have to relaunch and try again. I am almost at the point of ditching Firefox, the user experience is very bad. Any tips or suggestions please?

Since the latest version of FF was installed. I can rarely make attachments to emails or upload to websites. I'm having to use another browser for this purpose. I never had this issue until this version. Nothing else on my PC has changed.

My Firefox on iOS has crashed recently; I usually get a pop up that offers all tabs to be restored afterwards. I didn’t have an option for that this time, is there a way the tabs can be restored manually? Had a couple tabs open in private for school research links and would hate to have to go searching for them again. Thanks!
