What will be the process, for moving from 102 to 115? I use Thunderbird for work and use tags, message filters, and saved searches in my workflow. Will you be issuing a document, that will describe the migration process, or will it just update to 115 eventually without a migration process?

I can't figure out how to do this with Supernova (115+). Thanks.

So, what's with the version 115 of TB? It constantly asks for the passwords of the accounts, although they are all present and working in the profile folder.

If the developer now thinks that I am creating everything again just because the 115 version no longer wants to read the old profile, he has cut it. WE users are the ones who work with it every day and the developer can't just decide what's better, WE users are the ones who have to deal with it, so make sure you get your Schrottige115 version up and running, because NO ONE will want to use it that way.

Sorry if it sounds harsh, but I'm pissed off, Mozilla has been driving TB and FDF more and more against the wall for years. NO improvements just crap.

Can I install to have just one book? 2.i close tb with opened items. when i open tb these items are still opened. can i install this way: tb opens without these items and goes directly to inbox? 3.I can not drag down from an opened mail - customize toolbars- items that I see in general such as archiving ,unwanted, ? all reply ...Why not? regards

Changing number of folders in Resent of Move to

I have just upgraded to Thunderbird 115. I use the "Move to" menu item to move emails to different folders. When using the "Recent" menu item there are 21 folders listed… (funda kabanzi)

I have just upgraded to Thunderbird 115. I use the "Move to" menu item to move emails to different folders. When using the "Recent" menu item there are 21 folders listed. I would like to reduce the number of recent folders.

How can I change the number of folders listed in the "Recent" menu of the "Move to" menu?

Two Junk And Trash Folders Displayed (GMail) after upgrading to Thunderbird 115

After upgrading to Thunderbird 115, 2 spam folders (1 labelled Junk and the other Spam) and 2 Trash folders are displayed in my private GMail account. In my Google Works… (funda kabanzi)

In my Google Workspace account, 2 Trash folders (1 Bin and 1 Trash) are displayed.

Thunderbird 115: Unified Inbox is missing an email account

I updated to Thunderbird 115. One of my email accounts is no longer showing up in the "Unified Folders" view. It is still there: it can be seen in the "Favorites Folders"… (funda kabanzi)

I updated to Thunderbird 115. One of my email accounts is no longer showing up in the "Unified Folders" view. It is still there: it can be seen in the "Favorites Folders" and "Unread Folders." But I would like to use the Unified inbox.

How can I repair Thunderbird to see all accounts in the "Unified Inbox"? I have already tried deleting the IMAP folder in my profile and letting Thunderbird create it again. This did not change anything. Also, (I do not know if this is relevant) I have four email accounts and two of them have the same domain name and a different username (e.g., mail@xxxx.com and name@xxxx.com). One email from this domain is showing up fine, but one is the one that is not showing up any longer.

What I would like the ability to do is to define my own "Smart Folders" to link material I need in that context. I can't seem to find any information on whether this is possible, or it's not obvious (to me).

I am running Thunderbird 115 Supernova.

I wanted to ask for help but on the Dutch site I could not find a button for help. Only at he English site.

But I am Dutch.

Hope that I can get the Menu bar on top again like in Firefox..

Hi I made a mistake. I allowed Norton Software Updater to run the TB 115 as an upgrade, rather than download and install 115 as a new install. It seems to be working fine and I like it but I am concerned that I may get future problems. I don't particularly want to save the profiles and re-install if it is unnecessary. Can you please give me your recommendations? Thanks P.S. I have a small number of errors and warnings in the Error Console, mostly from start-up but they mean nothing to me and there are no obvious issues.

I am using Exquilla for Microsoft exchange and there is something definitely wrong since the upgrade was done.

I just installed Thunderbird version 115, and it's a mess. When I attempt to write a message, the background color is black, making it almost impossible for me to read what I am typing. I've tried changing it through Settings/Composition/HTML Style, but that didn't work. I selected text color Black and background color white, but if I left the Sending Format as automatic, my new written messages still have black text on a black background. If I also change the Sending Format to Only HTML, then my new written messages have white text on a black background -- the exact OPPOSITE of what I have selected. (And yes, I have checked repeatedly. I have selected black text on a white background.) I'm running Windows 11 Home. I'd greatly appreciate any ideas on how to fix the colors of my messages. Thanks!

Tools>Filters does not open if I am in a unfied folder eg Unified Inbox. If I move to an inbox for a specific account Filters will open. If I re-install TB or run troubleshooter and am in Unfied Inbox, Tools>Filters will open one time and will not open after that unless I move to the inbox for an individual account.

Can this be how v115 is supposed to work? I never had problems opening Filters when I was in the Unified Inbox in previous versions.
