I have a bunch of content in my Local Folders: Junk mailbox but none of it is showing up in Thunderbird. The Properties for the folder shows "Number of messages: 0", "Size on disk: 3.4 MB". I've tried the "Repair Folder" button but it makes no difference. The folder views as empty in Thunderbird.

Not sure when this started happening because I don't recall having this problem in the past. The folder permissions are the same as all the other mailboxes:

In regular web pages, I'm able to hover over an URL / picture w/ URL behind it, etc.... It shows up on the status bar at the bottom of the page (that's what it used to be called). Sometimes I can't.

Somewhere around the same time as I started noticing this, I had just upgraded to a Win11 computer. So, when I try to hover over a suspicious link, I get nothing!

Is there code these people can put in that shields them from hover? So, we can't see what we're getting into? If so, then I presume if I can't hover, don't click... Right?

I can't print an email. The whole screen prints and is too small to read.

I read previous answers to use the drop down menu and select print, but then I get window that says I have a blocking the print. I don't have an active blocker. I do have malwarebytes. Never had any trouble printing on chrome or safari.

Firefox search allows a range of useful search engines to be available. About every 2 weeks, Amazon UK is removed from the list available. Then I have to refind it and put it back. Then repeat the process. This is getting boring.

Is there any way this search tool can be nailed into the search options?

Find out and correct the problem I typed in the question block : I am no longer able to download my email from the WOWWAY home page since I accepted our latest update. The only way I can get my email now is by using Microsoft Edge as my browser!!!!

Hello I have noticed that global Thunderbird search (Ctlr+K) does not index email subjects. So, if I search for keyword which is present only in email subject and not in email body, then search does not return result. If I'm in correct folder and use quick search (Ctrl+Shift+K) with search by subject enabled then it find this email.

Is there any way to search globally by keywords in subject?

When i enter fullscreen mode on my phone the android UI elements sometimes doesn't hide (see image). This occurs on sites like youtube and any other site where i try to play content in fullscreen.

There is "show in folder" menu for file in downloads. And it will launch my file manager at the parent folder for the selected download file.

There are so many files in my downloads folder, so i would like the specific file to be autoselected. My file manager support this if i pass the filename as parameter in the commandline.

However, seems that firefox only pass the parent folder path to my file manager in the "show in folder". However can i customize firefox so that it will pass the full file name to my file manager when i click "show in folder", and my file manager will open the parent folder with the specific file autoselected.

I have installed the latest version of Bluebird. All address books are there. Calendar events did not migrate, but the Calendar is there. Everything seems normal, however I cannot get mail messages from gmail, and when I try to Send an email generated in Bluebird, I get an authentication error [no valid certificate], and I cannot create an exception. Less often, I am asked for my gmail password, which is not recognized when I type it in.

If anyone has had to deal with this, and found a solution, I sure would love to fix this. I have been using Bluebird for 25 years. I hate the idea that I might have to give it up. My eMail address is: ejcclare@gmail.com.

The user interface is really confusing. There is a X right on top which closes Thunderbird. In the statusbanner every mail occurs with the title and an X to remove it from the banner.

Until that point no problem.

But I keep my archive on my NAS server as .eml files. When I open one of them they do't appear in the opened Thunderbird, but in e new window with the X for closing ricght in the top..

So when I am reading my new e-mails and want to open an old one it is in a new window with the close X right on top. Moving around between new and archived mails is confusing. The new mails mus be closed on the banner and the archived mails right on the top. Which means that during working like that I close Thunderbird itself many times, have to restart the profile again etc. Not very speed improving.

I see two options: First: open arhived e-mail not as an extra window but within the mail screen second: make it possible to point to a local map within "local maps", or make it possible to archive in local maps outside Thinderbird, hence in any local map on my computer (or NAS server) Then the user interface with a banner for opened e-mails is similar for archived mail and new ones.

Am in the UK. I am able to receive e-mails, but not able to send e-mails. All was well until relatively recently. The following message appears: Sending of the message failed. Unable to authenticate to Outgoing server (SMTP) mail.uwclub.net. Please check the password and verify the 'Authentication method' in 'Account Settings | Outgoing server (SMTP)'.

I gave gone through all suggestions I can find online, (including the "Cannot send messages" support page here) but still no success.

Inbox messages from the month of February inclusive and back disappeared, but just the ones from the "Local Folders" folder, because I have another account and those are intact?
