Sometimes when I open a new tab and start typing an address, the tab disappears as if it never existed. Don't know how to replicate it, as it is random and happens just often enough to disturb me. Also not sure at which point the tab dissappears, while I am typing or when I hit enter.

In Firefox Android, Could you add an option to disable the display of the message "Entering Full Screen Mode" when entering a full screen mode for a web app such as an online video player? I find it annoying because I can clearly see that the video player is in full screen mode and the message just blocks whatever I'm trying to view in the video player like the subtitles of a video.

While this is a Privacy and Security setting issue - at least tangentially - my question isn't about security so much as how this data is being stored/retrieved.

I navigated to an entirely new site the other day and it requested a username and password. When the cursor was in the Username field, a set of proposed entries showed up. These were all (recognizable) first names - not emails. When I checked the Privacy and Security settings, I couldn't find any of the names in stored data. While this may be just cached entries for similar fields ("username" or "name" etc...), the list I saw was heavily curated. One of the names I don't ever recall even entering in any name field (and wouldn't have been used for any login) - but even if I had, the list that I saw was far from exhaustive and would only have been a very specific subset of any data I would have entered into any "name" or "username" field.

Is there somewhere I can find how that list was generated?

When I put the address "https://store.google.com/product/fitbit_charge_6?hl=en-US&source=sh/x/srp/wr/m1/1&kgs=9049baa04a7bf560" into Firefox and hit return, I get no response. Literally nothing.

Firefox keep crashing when I use certain websites (realtor.com is one that comes to mind). I use a Macbook pro. I've updated my operating system, updated Firefox, and tried to use Firefox in troubleshooting mode. Everything is up to date, and the crashes still happen in troubleshooting mode. Hello, Firefox keeps signing me out of Google websites like google.com and youtube.com when I close out the browser. I recently switched from Google Chrome and was wondering if this was a Google issue or if it was Firefox. It only keeps me signed out of Google accounts, and keeps me signed in for every other website. I have the "Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed" box unchecked and it still keeps me logged out, and I have "cookied" unboxed in my Clear History settings as well. I'd like to have this issue fixed as soon as possible for school-related reasons.

How do I add and keep the Gramerly extension in Firefox browser? I have added it many times but it often just disappears for some reason. I'm sure this happens just to piss me off, but perhaps there is a way I can get it going again. Please advise. Thank you!

As you can see here, despite me setting custom colors and checking every setting i could find, i can't seem to find what will turn this white color to grey or black,

How to reach a site used in the past (whether typed URL or used saved Bookmark!) ---but now Firefox won't let me access now, please?! I have some sites for decorating my online gaming site. Your settings warn me that the site isn't ---https://. --- which I realize, and FIREFOX stops me from going to the site. How do I temporarily use a site, then restore the security? I appreciate how FIREFOX keeps us safe! TY!

Yesterday, I was invited to update Firefox on my desk-top PC running Windows 10. When I did, all of my open tabs were absent from the new version. Luckily the old version was still open with my open tabs. Today, my old version opened again with the open tabs and a window that said the automatic updated didn't happen. It invited me to update again. I clicked on "More information" and it went to an error message. My question is, how do I save all of my open tabs when I update Firefox?

So, I tried to download a video from my YouTube Premium Account. According to the youtube webpage, that video was downloaded to my iMac. My FF 124.0.1 settings are set up to download to the Desktop. I am running Mac OS Sonoma 14.4.1

Yet the file is not there. I tried searching on the Support page for FF. Lots of articles but no real help. Tons of info about how to tweak the download but Nothing about Where that download ended up. I did give Permission in Settings for youtube.com to download to my iMac, but again, I can't find the file. In the Storage section, it shows 37.5 MB, so it should be on my iMac, right?

How is it possible for youtube.com to show that I downloaded the file but I can't find it?

I am totally at a loss. Never had anything like this happen before. Prior downloads have Always shown up on the Desktop.

When I go into Privacy & Settings, then cookies & site data, I uncheck the box for cookies & site data. It doesn't save. Next time I go in it is checked again. How do I get this setting to save? I'm using Windows 10, Firefox 124.0.2.
