Until a few days ago, when clicking on the Firefox icon, my latest messages came up immediately but now I am confronted with a blank page!

I have discovered I could eventually find them by clicking on File and Get messages - but there are a number of options.

Haphazardly, I clicked on these options and eventually my messages appeared - but even that no longer works...

Help!!

I recently updated from an iPhone SE 2020 to an iPhone 11. I used Firefox to save all my passwords. I did a back up of my old phone prior to getting a new one then installed everything to my new phone. I assume that Firefox, with all the passwords would transfer with no problem. Firefox did, my reading, list, bookmarks, etc. all transferred, my passwords, however, didn’t. When I open passwords, there is a list of all the websites that I saved passwords for though contents are empty. I didn’t save anything to iCloud because I was using Firefox, so I have no back up for the lost passwords. Is there anyway , I can get them back? Also of note, is that Firefox does not offer to save any new logins or any new passwords to websites. I’m also wondering why this is happening. Please help!

Updated to SONOMA yesterday. Since then, with VPN (PIA) on, Firefox will not connect to any website, or websites do not appear normal. Even signing up to post this question here without the VPN on took longer (BAD GATEWAY; Error; No Access) for whatever reason... This never happened before.

Is anyone else having issues with thew new operating system SONOMA, with VPN and without, on Firefox?

I have the problem that PDFs that directly open in Firefox aren‘t downloadable. Both ways which are mentioned in the help, aren't working. As Screenshot - full site: the screen is completely white. In the case of the Share button, a PDF is produced, which can't be opened by other apps and is also very small. This behavior isn‘t connected to one special site, it always occurs when PDFs are directly shown in Firefox.

Thank you in advance. Markus

Greetings,

Since a few days ago, I am noticing an anomaly while using Mozilla Firefox app on iPad Air 1 iOS version 12.5.7. Mozilla cannot save pictures anymore via google image search results for the mobile version of the website while it allows to save pictures while on the desktop version of the website. Usually, when clicking an image on the google image result tile it shows the image in full resolution and then by clicking and holding a picture, it use to offer to save the picture (please see picture #1):

Now instead, Mozilla only highlights everything around the image shown in full resolution (on mobile version of the website) and it offers different options for the selected item(s) and it no more offers to save the image as usual (please see picture #2):

Using other websites on their mobile version with the iPad Air and Mozilla app mobile allows to save images. Thus the issue seems to be with the google website on mobile version.

Filling a google “bug” form about the issue listed that the device used was a MacOS 10.15.4, but I’m using an iPad Air 12.5.7. I then double checked with the website deviceinfo.me which also lists that while using Mozilla on the iPad Air, the web browser detected is Safari 13.1 and the OS used is MacOS 10.15.4 (which is not the case). Thus, it seems by two different sources that Mozilla on the iPad is not detected as the correct browser and so does for the OS used. (Please see pictures #3 and 4):

I cross checked these findings with another device on the same network using an iPhone 8 plus, iOS16.7.2 with Mozilla Firefox v120.1 (36298) and the Mozilla app allows to save pictures on the mobile version of google search image and the website deviceinfo.me lists the correct info regarding the iPhone model and the web brower used.

1. What is causint the Mozilla Firefox app on the iPad to prevent from saving pictures on the mobile version of google image search results?

2. Why Mozilla is detected as Safari on the iPad and appears to be running on the wrong OS?

3. Can anything be done to allow Firefox to save pictures on the mobile version of google search image on the iPad? Such as work around or update for the app itself? (Reinstalling the app on the iPad did not fix the issue).

4. Is the issue preventing to save picture with the Mozilla app itself (app which has not been updated since it started not offering to save images a few days ago) or is the issue on the google server side which maybe have been updated?

Thanks in avance,

B

I have been unable to download PDFs using Firefox for the past six months. Every time I try, I immediately get the download "failed" message. I noticed that under "Settings">"General">"Files and Applications," the "Save files to" field is blank, and selecting the "Choose" button generates no listing. It doesn't matter whether the "Always ask you where to save files" is checked or unchecked. Can you help with this problem?

Hello: I found on a help page the info for submitting crash reports, but tonight's crash wasn't listed as a crash. I was just browsing and my screen went blank. When it returned, my tabs came back but they all have to be reset. e.g., I have to log back in to by Twitter, Facebook, and all other password protected accounts. This happens frequently and it is very annoying. I'm reporting this hoping that the problem can be fixed.

Sincerely,
