Hello, recently i installed Kubuntu 20.04 (KDE Plasma 5.18.8). I have this problem where firefox (version 100) is not rendering the window and i think it's the profile folder.

First i was thinking on the graphics. i have installed 'nvidia-driver-510'. I tried this Solution with no luck.

I have:

• Intel HD Graphics 620
• Nvidia MX130

I tried :

• Renaming the folder '.mozilla' to '.mozilla_bak' works perfectly but i have to do this every startup, and firefox creates a new profile where i have to logon in every platform i use.
• Downloading 'firefox-100.0.1.tar.bz2', it's the same, works fine with a new profile.

This lead me to the profile folder, running './firefox --profile ~/.mozilla/firefox/<profile_folder>' it's the same, not rendering the entire window. I dont know why my profile is causing this problem, i only use three addons: AdBlock, BetterTTV and FoxyProxy, i have the same problem even if i dont have these installed.

Example: If I start typing in the address bar and type the letter a... amazon.com comes up since I frequent there a lot. But, if I start typing the name of my bank nothing comes up in the address bar. I always have to type it out.

After i just updated Firefox to newest version .. I can not load any website anymore!!!!!! please make it so i can return to the previous version ASAP so everything works again.

Al those other solutions you guys give like clear cache disable en able etc don't work and take hrs of time

Cannot take screenshot of problem (pop up ms from Amazon via Firefox) . . as soon as I pick up the phone or attempt any action whatsoever, the message box disappears. And since I have a fingerprint access option on, the moment my finger touches the screen for full access there is no record of the message for screen capture. Also, if I do nothing, the screen goes black (normal, with time/date etc visible) within a few seconds after the message appears . . though it is waiting for me to touch the screen at which time it reappears again for a few seconds. So it is pick up the phone . . trigger motion detection . . message box appears . . wait a couple of seconds . . black screen . . touch or pick up the phone . . message box . . black screen etc. I can of course do the fingerprint scan and have full phone features, but the preliminary nag "box message" all the time bugs the hell out of me. In the text of my "complaint" I quoted what the message says, it is not from Firefox but does have a tiny Firefox logo upper left. The small rectangular window also has a left/right "full return" arrow (grayed out each one) with a black "pause" button in between the two arrows, and it is not grayed out. However nothing happens if I touch it. In very small print under the main text (first few words of my Amazon review) is a link to the Amazon page where I posted a review of a product. The message itself that I refer to is NOT from Firefox, but is comprised of the first few words of my review headline (not all of it but most) on the Amazon product comment review page. So even though the "content" of the unwanted message is from Amazon, the Firefox logo nevertheless appears (very tiny) in the upper left of the rectangular window, so it appears to be a composite error interaction between Firefox and Amazon. How to tell Firefox to stop posting it? Or how to tell Amazon that their software is somehow involved? I haven't a clue . . ! This is a re-written complaint . . the original one resulted in an email request from "Seburo" who asked for a screenshot, but did not provide a return email address that functioned. Hello everyone, When starting up Firefox v100 on OSX, two "password required" windows open immediately in a row to ask for my primary password. I type my password in the prompt window on top (appearing last) which works fine and closes. Then the second window (which appeared first) gets behind the firefox main window and I can't neither access the password prompt window nor use the main window. The problem started today after the firefox update on this computer and remains the same if I try to restart Firefox. I had a similar issue on a different computer but it was not systematic and restarting Firefox would be enough to fix the problem.

Please any help ? (I can't share troubleshooting information as I cant click in the window to export it.

Videos don't play in Firefox after updating to Windows 11. They just perpetually load. Playback works fine on Google Chrome, I'm not sure what could be causing this. I tried reinstalling, disabling all extensions, clearing cache, etc. and nothing has worked.

Suddenly, when I search the web with a topic search term, e.g. "thrombin", I get the error message: 'The page you are looking for cannot be displayed because an invalid method (HTTP verb) is being used.' Can you help me resolve this problem?

The last auto upgrade included a calendar function, which I switched off as I thought this was causing the problem. But now after all the messages have downloaded, I get the usual pop-up box in the bottom right of the screen telling me I have received x messages but it only half fades in and the whole PC jams. CTR-ALT-DEL does not work and I can't switch to a different window or even click on anything in the Thunderbird screen. The only thing that I can do is hard reboot the PC and switch off the router, which allows me to start up Thunderbird without anything downloading. I am using Windows 7 and Avast as my AV. Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Please help me remove this blank area section on the web pages. its on all of them on every tab. I have tried restarting and updating. I cant get it to go away.

Follow the dialog at homelink.com to report an error with a garage door remote problem. Clicking on "Submit" gets a 404 error. I've had similar problems with other website dialogs, but usually the link is just ignored. For example rockler.com, when attempting to place an order - nothing happens. In both cases, switching to MS Edge works correctly.

Seems like there's a bug in the new update. I can't see all the downloads, no matter how I try to open the list of downloads, the browser immediately crashes. I tried reinstalling (started a new profile, etc), the issue still persists.

Updating to version 38.1.0 Start Thunderbird, Starts up OK. Can view messages and write new emails etc OK. If I select "get messages" OR messages are accessed automatically every 5min. then the whole PC crashes. Three finger salute does not bring up task manager. Only way out is to power cycle.

Hello dear Mozilla. In a few moments ago the firefox crash and show massage that its was importing my data to restart its self. But after restarting I cant run the App in its crash again and I had restart my system. After restart my system I run the firefox but my tabs , my them , my extensions and ... almost gone. pleas help me to recovery them I really really need them. Thanks.
