Sending of the message failed. The message could not be sent because connecting to Outgoing server (SMTP) smtp.gmail.com failed. The server may be unavailable or is refusing SMTP connections. Please verify that your Outgoing server (SMTP) settings are correct and try again.

What can I do?

I have changed router to ZYXEL VMG3925-B10C . Old router was old and not cope with internet speed. however emails worked in and out OK. Since the change done yesterday when I try to send emails I get the following error message. Incoming emails are all received.

"Sending of the message failed. An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: REJ-RELAY-001: relay not permitted. Please check the message recipient"

The error comes somewhere in the domain of Thunderbird , router or internet provider but as as I am not an expert I do not how to solve the problem.

About two weeks ago suddenly none of my emails were being delivered (Tried sending from multiple email addresses) I didn't realise this for a while as the emails I sent did not bounce back. I have tried deleting and reinstalling the software and immediately after a test email got through. But that did not last. I have checked my outgoing mail server and it remains unaltered as mail.internode.on.net I have also tried turning off my firewall in my Norton 360 software.

I am able to send emails using internode web mail. I am using the latest version of windows 11 (64) I have been using your software for many many years and never had a problem before. I have not changed anything on my computer to cause this problem. Please help.

I recently switch to Firefox and I'm enjoying it so far. One problem though, continuously using Firefox over a long period of time cause it to use more memory than normal. I assumed it was because of the large amount of tabs i kept opened but even when i had closed most of them, the problem still persist. This lead to worse performance and more frequent crashes. One way I found to have helped is to close and reopen Firefox, but the fix is only temporally.

Why does TB take so long to :Delete Mail Marked as Junk" and "Empty Trash?" I get a note that says "Not Responding" but if I leave it alone for a few minutes, it eventually deletes the messages. Is there a reason for this or a way to fix it?

I lost the entire "INBOX" (and other sub-catagories) after an automatic download/install of Thunderbird v. 102.11.2

There is now an empty INBOX and .msf associated with Thunderbird appearing in the directory, however, the INBOX still does not appear in the T-Bird program screen (see attached screenshot).

Although I am not panicking, there is a message in the bar at the bottom left hand corner of the T-Bird form stating " "Could Not Detect Login Form".

This now beyond my amateur troubleshooting capabilities. Any suggestions regarding rebuilding or location a Login Form? Thanks in advance for the assist!

Ipsos Media link app seems to cause issues with Firefox - error messages, constantly wanting to load extension already loaded. Have repeated contacted Ipsos and they say no issue their end so can I just put up with it - but it is constantly being a nuisance and if I try to use Firefox in troubleshoot mode the error message still comes up bottom right of the screen saying there is an issue with Firefox - but there isn’t. I go through the extension addition - downloads 0 bytes but going through the process seems to satisfy the app! Any ideas helpful.

After updating to version 114 I keep having tabs crash. If I close Firefox and reopen it, the first few tabs are fine. After a bit, any tab I try to open gives me a "tab crashed" message. I can only load the default tab screen. If I try to go to Google or anywhere it crashes. I try to do a search and it crashes. I've had to use Chrome to be able to do anything.

I'm using version 114.0 (64 bits) with Eset Internet Security 16.1.14.0 installed on a Windows 10 machine 22H2 Build 19045.2965. I have refreshed Firefox from previous version yesterday (06/06/2023) (it asked me to restart the browser). Since then I cannot load any page (not even the about:crashes or settings or passwords, or any website). All pages keep on crashing, the reports are not generated nor sent to support. I have tried to locate the crash reports under APPDATA, but none being generated. I also tried to disable my anti-virus software thinking it may cause an issue, but still no luck. The same happens in Safe mode as well. Tried clean install as well, but again the same thing happens.

Thunderbird has been crashing frequently and wlll not allow me to delete emails. Result is that I have approx. 70,000 emails and cannot get rid of them. I am about to unload the program. Worked well for years but not now. Also will not recognize my password.

After a trip on which I used several other internet connections, my Firefox has become very unstable. It is prompting me to shut down Firefox in order to open the next window. It is also flickering on the refresh icon. It is also blocking adult content. I have refreshed the Firefox browser but that changed nothing. I am not sure how to troubleshoot to look specifically at these problems. I am fearful of trying to delete and reinstall this program as I do not use any other online browsers and do not want to install them. Can this be troubleshooted remotely without risking malware?

currently FF 114.0 started about mid Feb 2023 i started to get right click lockup freeze FF updated a few times problem still there only way was to close and reopen win7 64 Pro 8gb ram 4gb GC i7cpu my win 10 is fine same FF version happens every so often but gen every day

When using Firefox on OSX (Ventura 13.4) after about 1 day Firefox slows down so much I have to quit the application and restart it. Then it is back to normal speed. I'm not sure if this is an OS-X issue or Firefox issue, but restarting the app fixes it for a few hours, then its incredible slow again.

I was browsing and commenting on a YouTube video, when my my typing wasn't showing up for several seconds after I typed it...like 20-30 seconds. I checked Windows Task Master and 10 instances of firefox were open (I was only using one tab) and they were using 68% of my CPU and 90% of my available memory, basically locking up my computer. I tried closing it and reopening it, but the same thing happened. I had to go to another browser. I remember this happening in the past, and I had to move to another browser permanently. I would much rather stay with Firefox if you can prevent this from happening.

Hi - I'd like to turn off compacting for gmail accounts. It seems it often collides with whatever google is doing on their end, and it fails and asks to repeat. My other email is through privateemail.com and seems to work ok. Can this be done on an account basis? All are IMAP.

I'm a funds contributor, I really love and believe in your product, looking forward to new releases that hopefully have things like centralized configuration/spam filter/email filters.

I was receiving my email from outlook.com and part way through, I get this message: The STAT command did not succeed. Error getting message number and sizes. Mail server pop-mail.outlook.com responded: Server Unavailable. 21

I was able to read the emails directly on the server and deleted each after reading. But nothing else will come into Thunderbird. I get the above error each time.
