A few weeks ago I began, while trying to connect to Kaiser from an email message, to get a response that said it was unable to connect because "server not able to redirect." I wasn't getting any error messages from any other sites or attempts to connect with any other sites.

I contacted Kaiser and got some tech office in California (I'm in Hawaii). I did all that they suggested, i.e. "cleaning up" my computer, and I even paid and installed a program called "CClean", and used "Ninite." After making all the "clean ups" the error message was still happening, and later it even mentioned Firefox in the message.

At that point I had no idea what to do and went to "help" on the application menu. Did the "troubleshooting" a couple times, and then saw a "refresh" button, that I thought was probably, and looked innocuous; this led to a bunch of other things that I certainly didn't want to mistakenly perform anything untoward.

After all this I was finally able to link properly with Kaiser, BUT ALL OF MY TABS WERE GONE!

This seems to be a real problem on Firefox, since I've NEVER seen anything that is easy to select to "resolve", "reinstate", or "RECOVER" tabs. I've seen many of the same questions about TAB recovery before.

I've been with Firefox for probably a couple of decades now, and this seems to be a major issue without any "easy" solution. Or, am I just missing something completely?!

Hi 😊 I’m trying to resolve my sisters’ issue with Thunderbird, and I know nothing about Thunderbird. When I open Thunderbird, I have an issue in that the Archive folder is there but no content is shown

Yet if I go to where the files are they seem to be there. They were working but I accidentally deleted the folder and out of the trash folder as well. If I go into “C:\Users\Sue\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Archives.sbd” where the emails and folders are, they seem to be there but not showing in Thunderbird when I click on any folder in Archive and are appear top be very small, i.e. empty.

I have screen shots if you require but thought not appropriate at this stage.

I was able to change some of my message pane background by adding the following to the userContent.css file:

Why do I still get these two dark gray areas (see attached)? What css do I need to add to get them to be the lighter grey?

Cox has tranferred my email accounts to Yahoo. I need to know how to connect back to Thunderbird. Had a discussion on your FB group with ANJE YELF.. She said to leave a message here and she would get back to me on how to do that. I have imap.

So running thunderbird 115.10.1 (64-bit) and more and more issues:

• the app keeps getting non-responsive for long period of time, to fix this I have to force quit the app.
• at times when composing an email the app freezes where no typing occurs for seconds or typing is very slow or after typing awhile the text suddenly appears.

Seems to be happening more and more trying to figure out how it can return back to it's rockstar state when it was <99 version.

any help would be appreciated.

I have 3 machines with Thunderbird. A while back I noticed that I had duplicate folders for sent mail (Sent & Sent Mail) and for Drafts. (Drafts and Drafts) I did a search and found a discussion from 2019, but nothing more recent. That one kinda lost me. I just got a new machine and installed Thunderbird again. My Gmail account on the new machine shows the same dual folders. Hopefully someone here can detail a solution in steps for a moron like myself.

I have just imported my old email from Outlook to TB Local Folders. Everything works out except some of the email (not all) show a wrong date in the email list. The date show a future date like 2/7/2101, 6:28 AM. Please check the attached image. Any idea?

emails load very slowly or the app stalls & doesn't respond. Often I have to tap twice to open an email. When deleting an email it can take a couple seconds especially when deleting multiple. I can hit the delete button several time & have to wait several seconds for it to finally catch up. This has been happening for a few months now & is getting worse. Sometimes the pictures in the message load one at a time. It was working right, then one day it started lagging & hasn't been right since.

I noticed that FireFox downloaded a Firefox HTML Document called GnT6qZGD with a size of 0KB, during this time I had tabs open from both https://wago.io/weakauras and https://www.curseforge.com/

Scanned it with Bitdefender and it was clean and when editing in notepad it is empty and a blank page when accidentally opening it.

Then completed a full system scan and it come up as clean.

I have 2 questions,

1st, Is this still a bug in Firefox that appears to have been reported before? 2nd Should I be concerned about it?

It used to be that when I typed in the beginning of a URL, Firefox would suggest a massive list of matching URLs from my history that would slowly dwindle as I typed more, but now I get only three suggestions.

I didn't change anything, so is this a change in Firefox? If so, can it be changed back? Or made an option?

I understand the basic differences between unread folders and unified folders what I don't understand is why two of nine my accounts are listed in both unified folders and unread (see circled in red) how do I remove the two accounts from unified folders or

add more to it
and what makes it confusing is that the subfolders aren't the same when listed in unified or unread

I recently purchased a new laptop and needed to migrate my old Thunderbird profiles. This is what I did: 1. Backed up profiles from old laptop 2. downloaded and installed latest version of Thunderbird on new laptop 3. coped profiles into \roaming directory 4. tested and successfully received emails and viewed all old emails.

The problem is that the Mail toolbar is nowhere to be found. Also, the calendar is missing. I tried right clicking on empty space and it only showed "menu bar" as an option. Attachment shows nothing in the toolbars option of View dropdown.

Thank you for your assistance in advance. Since I updated my browser, I've encountered some issues when trying to maximize the virtual screen in my tv. I use a Mac and connect the screen to a web TV to watch YouTube in my big tv. However, when I click to maximize the window, the connection becomes unstable, and the virtual screen disappears every time I click the YouTube icon to do this. This problem never occurred before. I would appreciate your help in resolving this issue. Please let me know if you require any additional information from me.

The reminder function quit working...nothing at all

I'll add an appointment ask for a reminder, but nothing happens however it used to work

I used to get a reminder email as well as a notice sent to my phone, but now nothing to include the folks I have invited to the event. No reminders for anyone. I have checked Notify Attendees and Separate Invitation per attendee on the Edit Event pop up the by nothing I do seems to work.

The goal is to get the reminder to the phone screen(s) and emails.

Hello, I did look for related posts but found nothing close enough to this so I thought I would create a post. I don't ever recall having this issue before v102 was introduced but now it happens once in a while but not always.

If I am in the inbox of my main mail account and choose to delete a message, it goes away and then reappears almost immediately. There is a box that shows up at the bottom right of the screen that says: The current operation on inbox did not succeed. The mail server for account (my main mail account is shown) responded: UID MOVE failed. This account is in Canada on the Bell Canada network so perhaps it is an ISP issue?

I have 3 mail accounts set up - all IMAP. If I close TB and reopen it, the message is gone as if it required the program to close in order to complete the delete request.

If anyone has experienced this and has any suggestions or tips, it will be greatly appreciated. - Thanks, Mike

Today, most of messages have suddenly disappeared from my TB inbox, leaving only the most recent 105 out of approx. 18,000. I have not performed any operations (compacting, archiving...) that could have caused this.

I immediately invoked the 'Repair Folder' command, which did not resolve the problem. Further investigation revealed that the 'Inbox' file ('Profiles' folder) actually contains only 105 messages - seems like the 'Repair Folder' truncated the file!

Fortunately, all the messages are still on the server. My question: Is there a method to 'force' reloading of the missing messages?

I get this Error message when I try to send emails from my outlook email address in Thunderbird. Basically asking me to enter a Password to login to office365 server ! My Password is correct, and has not been changed recently.

Any ideas please ?

Hello. Our organization is experiencing an issue where sound settings are not carrying over correctly to Firefox. Specifically, this is with speaker settings. In multiple calling platforms (tested in Genesys Cloud and Teams), we are not able to adjust the settings for the speaker that audio plays from. We can adjust the default microphone setting, but not the speaker setting. This is only occurring in Firefox (works fine in Edge and Chrome).

Additionally, we've tried adjusting the default audio settings by going to Windows > Sound settings > App volume and device preferences, and changing the settings specifically for Firefox on this page. This does not work. When we check Teams or Genesys Cloud, it seems like Firefox is just picking any default without a rhyme or reason.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I am a Salesforce (improveit! 360) user, exclusively browsing with Firefox for over 12 years without any problems. The most recent Firefox update 125.0.2 (64-bit) has caused an issue with my staff calendar. I have reached out to improveit! 360 they are a force.com developer and they will not help, said the error is caused by Firefox interpreting the code. I have figured out a work around to get the calendar to load correctly for a short term solution. Below is a screenshot of the error, any help would be greatly appreciated.
