Somehow yahoo became my default search engine and when I do a search I get the same advertisement that blocks the entire landing screen, how can I change it back to google?

Hello community, I have many history items from forms that I want delete, I can delete formhistory.sqlite from Firefox profile in AppData, but after while all unwanted items are back downloaded from Firefox Account (cloud). Is it possible somehow delete those file in Firefox Account too?

I want to download Firefox for android. If I can't do it directly from Mozilla I will not do it at all. I am a long time user of Firefox and Thunderbird and want it for my android phone.

Thunderbird downloads from Gmail (a POP server) spam folder. It should only download from the "Inbox", isn't this correct? Gmail is not IMAP, which would dl all folders? Downloaded phishing and spam emails which come from the Gmail spam folder always have an incorrect time stamp.

please refer to below attached images If i cntrl+f and try to find a string on the window, firefox highlights all the hits in a dark pink color and the scroll bar is not visible!! that is a issue isint it as a cannot find the scroller and hold it and scroll it up or down!

let me know please if there are any gaps in my explanation of the issue if there isint , please suggest/provide a fix

All of the shortcuts that Fire Fox created for my oft-used websites stopped working on my iPad. Nothing happens when I select any of them. It may be related to my recent upgrade to iOS 26, but I believe they continued to work for a time after my upgrade.

Hey. New to Thunderbird. I am using the Linux version. I have a couple annoyances I'm sure are configurable, but I can't figure out. FYI, using IMAP and unified folders.

1) I'm watching mail retrieval in the status bar. Seems very one mailbox at a time rather than all at once making mail retrieval much slower than something like Apple Mail. Can that be changed to all at once?

2) This one really irks me :) I'm sitting in the trash folder and right click on it to empty it. It shows it does empty in the status bar, but the messages are still showing in the trash folder. If I click on another folder then back on the trash folder it shows empty. Why does it not refresh to show the current state of the mail folder?

Recently I've noticed that some web sites are displaying text in very washed-out colours or on backgrounds of similar colour to the text. This produces a low contrast ratio and makes the text very hard to read. I tried setting the text colour in Firefox settings, but this seems only to affect text where the web site does not explicitly set a colour. Is there any way to ovcerridethe web site's choice of colour?

I can no longer see Shortcuts, Bookmarks or Stories Home page in Private mode. They are displayed in normal mode and they seem to behave as before (I can add or remove individual items in Shortcuts and Bookmarks). Can I fix this myself or is this a bug or a new design choice?

I also have the issue with dark mode permanently enabled documented elsewhere. I am actively thinking of changing to another browser after many years using and financially supporting Mozilla

i hate the fact that my camera does not working chat group or otherwise ion Firefox and facebook. can not connect to family why does firefox not try to do something to fix it it used to work with facebook but now no ' even when i stop all extensions the camera does not work i have reinstalled the camera and it does work so why does my camera not work in firefox and facebook

Hello, My SMTP server uses Let's Encrypt certificate. The website with the same domain has no certificate. Thunderbird refuses to connect to my SMTP server. Test connection to the server (STARTTLS) in account settings sais "The secure connection to the server failed" (or similar. I see bg localization). Another server with Let's Encrypt certificate. Test pases. Clicking View certificate shows webserver cert (from DigiCert Inc).

I can't send emails! :)

I got a new tablet and synced my Fire fox but did it from the new device so it removed all my pinned shortcuts from my other computers. How can I recover my shortcut settings? What is the correct way to sync other devices to the one you have as the main one?

Since the latest update on 16/01, my search bar history has just not functioned at all.

Remember history is still ticked, however there is no autofill, and no sites are populating in shortcuts unless i add them manually. Basically history is not saving as it should.

I've checked all my settings but there doesn't seem to be anything amiss.

The latest Firefox update 147.0.1 has broken my old 1password filling login fields on MacOS Tahoe 26.2 Apple M1. I have tried backing it out but of course when you try to start the old version it immediately gets into an infinite loop because it insists on updating immediately. It also won't allow it to start with an already updated profile which has automatic updates disabled. Any solutions out there? Thanks for any help.

My ios language is set to English and I have Firefox v147.0 operating. When I load a foreign language page - say El Pais in Spanish - the translation function does not appear! Any suggestions gratefully received TIA - Michael
