После недавнего обновления браузер перестал открывать сстраницы или открывает их очень медленно. Я очистил кеш, отключил производительность и ничего не помогает. Как решить это проблему? Пс. Хром работает отлично на этом же ПК.

При установке параметра "Настройки - Основные - Открывать Firefox автоматически при загрузке компьютера" в реестре создается запись HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run - Mozilla-Firefox-E385C0CFD98A494C: "путь-к-файлу\firefox.exe" -os-autostart Что за параметр командной строки -os-autostart? На на сайте поддержки Mozzila не нашел, ни интернет не подсказал. Я понимаю, что это автозапуск Firefox при запуске Windows. Но что конкретно делает данный параметр?

On my home screen, the visited sites are all crammed to one side, lower left, and all narrow in their appearance. I prefer they look as they did before, with the "tabs" or site boxes along the bottom of my regular sites. And I can't seem to "delete" the sites I visit; I can only dismiss them. And that often doesn't work as well either.

On last Firefox update my Password manager was blanked out. I had no username/passwords in my Password Manager although I had previously had over 100. I managed to recover it by logging in to my Mozilla account but now have access to over 7000 of other peoples usernames and passwords on my password manager. You seem to have a major data breech or is this a quirk I don't understand? These other names/passwords show up when I try to log into certain sites, such as Schwab for example, and I have to pick mine out of a host of others to fill in the login info. What is going on?

When I click on the star icon in the address bar the star icon is filled in, and existing bookmarks show with the filled-in star icon. But I no longer get a dropdown where I can edit, tag, or delete an existing bookmark, and URLs I click on don't show up in Recently Bookmarked so they haven't been added.

The places.sqlite file in my profile is not read-only, and I restarted Firefox (stupidly, before I took a screenshot of the pinned shortcuts on my new tabs page) and that made no difference.

I searched the web for deleting the item "Weitere Lesezeichen" in the sidebar. I found only solutions for the firefox 85. In Firefox 85 should be a field for hiding this. Although in Firefox 150 it can`t be hided or deleted. I don`t need and I don`t want this "Weitere Lesezeichen". Any solutions?

I've been running TB for 10-12 years, generally with no problems. When I logged in on 5/13/26, I saw that Windows had run an overnight update:

    2026-05 Security Update (KB5089549) (26200.8457)

Thunderbird (version 147.0.2.0) was not running, although it had been when I slept the PC the previous night.

Now, when I try to start TB it gives me the crash report dialog. Selecting the Restart option just brings me back to the crash report.

In searching for possible causes, I see that this may be caused by a bad profile. So I open the profile folder with (run) %APPDATA%\Thunderbird\Profiles\ which in my case is:

  C:\Users\<user_name>\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles

This is an empty directory. But if I go up one level to \Thunderbird there is a profile.ini file which contains (actual user ID replaced by <user_ID>:

[Install8216C80C92C4E828] Default=E:\Thunderbird\Profiles

[Profile0] Name=<user_ID> IsRelative=0 Path=E:\Thunderbird\Profiles Default=1

[General] StartWithLastProfile=1 Version=2

"E:\Thunderbird\" is the correct location of my TB installation. In that directory is a profile.ini file that contains:

[General] StartWithLastProfile=1

[Profile0] Name=default IsRelative=1 Path=Profiles/<user_ID>.default

Directory "E:\Thunderbird\Profiles\<user_ID>.default" is present. But all of it's files are dated 2010 except Mail, dated 2016.

Directory "E:\Thunderbird\Profiles" contains the ImapMail and Mail sub directories totaling about 25GB data.

I don't know what the Thunderbird startup process is or if this all looks correct. Can someone give me a sanity check? If this looks normal, what else could be corrupted?

Every time I log in and then every so often afterwards I get the pop up - you are about to override how Thunderbird identifies this site- for a now deleted mail.co.uk account. I have tried all the fixes suggested by Google but it still keeps happening and is driving me mad. It tells me the certificate is outdated or invalid and asks to confirm to permanently store the exception but just keeps coming back every time I click on confirm, it only goes away if I click cancel but then keeps coming abck.

I am on a new PC with Windows 11, using 4 monitors. I keep trying to figure out what is making my mouse and sometimes the keyboard behave sluggish (freezes for a moment). I have takes all suggestions that AI has suggested but it is still happening. Do you have any thing for me to try? It appears to be only when Firefox is running.

This has happened randomly on several different computers, both windows and ubuntu linux. It just now happened on my Win 11 computer. Was viewing the CNN news site and FF suddenly closed, without a "FF crashed..." message.When I clicked the icon to reopen it, it came up with the home page group of tabs instead of reopening the windows and tabs that were opened when it crashed. Worse, none of the previous months of history shows up and recently closed tabs and windows are both greyed out.

Is there a way of recovering the history of what I was working on at the time of the crash and what the hell is causing this? I am close to dumping FF and going with something else as this is highly annoying.

I have been unable to send emails for several weeks and keep getting the following error message: sending of message failed The message could not be sent because connecting to the outgoing server (SMTP)smtp.1und1.de failed. The server may be unavailable or is refusing SMTP connections. Please verify that your outgoing server (SMTP) settings are correct and try again.

My settings have not been changed so I am wondering what has changed and how i can correct it. My computer knowledge and ability is very limited so please bear theis in mind when offering advice and solutions. Thank you.
