I sort my emails in date order, newest at the top. Recently, new emails have started to arrive at the bottom of the list, until I exit the folder and return, or re-sort the Inbox. This seems to be a new bug. Why is it happening?

I've noticed that my Firefox browser is taking longer than usual to load web pages, switch between tabs, and respond to user input. This slowdown is affecting my browsing experience and productivity. I've tried restarting the browser and my computer, clearing the cache and cookies, and disabling unnecessary extensions, but the performance issues persist. I'm not sure what else I can do to improve the speed and responsiveness of Firefox.

I can't scroll to The bottom of browser's menu lately, meaning i can't get to setups. I could not long ago while still having the bug, as a bit of the setup button was "reachable", but it is nów replaced by that "turn into pdf" feature. The bug itself is also rather new, although i can't tell precisely when i first noticed IT to occur, as it is on my heavy duty work phone and i use browser irregularly on it.

So, i don't see "refresh" button (or can't Reach IT, don't remember wether it was at the bottom od somewhere else), setup button and anything bellow the print button. Well, bellow that "save as pdf" button precisely, although i can't really swe said button.

I use the firefox browser on two computers and the sync of the bookmarks is enabled. On one of this computers dont work the sync of the bookmarks. I get no errormessage if I press "now sync", but I dont get the bookmarks. Could you help?

Chrome and Edge render the page just fine

Thunderbird keeps suggesting to use the Filelink feature for sending large files. And I am quite on board with that idea. However, the only way I can officially share large files with the industry partner is a Kiteworks platform, that is configured to only allow SFTP and the webclient.

When clicking on "Find more providers", the only provider that isn't specific to a business like Dropbox is Webdav.

Is there any way to use an SFTP server for Filelink?

I can control the number of rows. I can control whether to accept sponsored shortcuts. (I have chosen *not to.) I can control whether I want 1 or more rows to reflect recent activity. (I have chosen *not to.)

Yet until I pin my own preference to *every shortcut, it seems I cannot stop FF from putting "suggestions" in the empty slots, based on nothing but a single web visit.

This is annoying.

Moreover, if I visit several different pages connected to the same site, FF will put them all into shortcuts, with the same icons.

This is possibly even more annoying.

I am coming from Brave. They don't do things like that, although there is obviously a reason I'm giving FF a look.

But I would recommend, heartily, a home page shortcut box in settings that one could click (and actually *mean* something), like: "Don't ever suggest or fill in any shortcuts for any reason. I will handle it, and I don't like correcting your mistaken ideas."

Hi there. I wiped my C Drive and reinstalled windows 11 on my PC. Completely from scratch.

The first few thing I did is download firefox. I believe in the first boot of firefox, I can download things fine, I installed Ublock Origin add-on and a few installers for the app that I need to use. I can't recall when, but after a few reboot, I noticed that Firefox can't download anything, every download link I click on, the download fail instantly, I can't install add-ons as well.

I tried reinstall firefox, changing download folder target, nothing helped.

Can you take a look please? Thank you!

One of my two gmail accouns has suddenly become impossible to access (cannot receive, cannot send). T'Bird produces an Authentication has Failed notification, after a Google Window headed "Sign in to Mozilla Thunderbird Email" which refuses to go away. Clicking on the 'help' or 'privacy' options in that google window produces no more than a blank window but then "Sign in to Mozilla Thunderbird Email" reappears a few minutes later. My other gmail account doesn't have this problem, so I assume it's not gmail but it's T'Bird.

What's going on?

(BTW signing into this Support resulted in an email "New sign-in to Mozilla Support" warning "New sign-in to Mozilla Support to Firefox on Windows 10". Trouble is, I'm on Windows 11. Trivial maybe, but telling maybe.)

What is the way to tell thunderbird to index IMAP folders in global-messages-db.sqlite which are not stored locally?

And a more generally, how does this part work, message indexing and remote IMAP folders not stored locally? Here, after removing the database, thunderbird indexed only some very limited set of IMAP folders in the Gloda, but not all of the folders, despite all are checked for "Include in global search". Or maybe it didn't even index whole folders, - I can't say for sure.

I'm unable to open pdf in mozila as it is showing access denied in acrobatservices.adobe.com in the all other browser its opeing perfectly please fix this issue vfast opens in chrome and stuck in mozila at 100% and screen gets blanked as the access is denied helpppp

I don't know if you can help, Miscrosoft is useless so have given up on them. For some days now I've been getting a grey box with red printing appearing repeatedly on my screen, right in the centre. Try as I might I cannot get it to stop. It could have something to do with videos as today it started appearing after I looked at a video on Twitter. I have included a photo of the box Weirdly, I can't take a screen shot of it - it comes up blank and also, the cursor disappears behind the box and is invisible.

If you can't help could you point me to where I might get help please?

upgraded to Windows 11 , and thunderbird has not worked since then !

I want firefox to open a .ics file in google calendar rather than the "Use Calendar (default). I've already run the script linked here : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1196085 to register the webcal protocol handler.

The webcal It shows up in the Settings / Genera / Applications list See attachment "Webcal.jpg.

But earlier in the applications list, there is a "Calendar" entry that only allows me to go to the "Use Calendar (default) or ask or save. See attachment Calendar.jpg

It seems like Firefox uses the Calendar entry before it gets to the webcal entry and so it always opens the default windows calendar application.

Help! How do I get firefox to use the webcal entry and not the calendar entry.

If I Close (not Exit) FF and then later Open it, the new Open page is a different size and screen location than when it was last closed (I have to then reposition the page manually).

Is there a ABOUT:CONFIG setting I can can change to stop this?

Using Thunderbird version 115.11.0 (64-bit) with Windows 7 OS and THREADING TURNED OFF.

When I receive a second reply to an email I've sent via one of my email service providers that uses an outlook365 server, my thunderbird view hides it beneath the first reply unless I manually intervene by clicking on the "greater than" sign associated with the first reply. When I do click on the first reply the greater than sign spins clockwise 90 degrees and the second reply appears below the first as if it were in a subdirectory.

The above behaviour is very inconvenient because I am prone to missing the second reply and have trouble anticipating its existence. Admittedly the unread second reply does change the first reply's text property to "bold" but I much prefer to see the new message without having to manually click on everything bold to check.

Another email service provider I use also has an Outlook365 server but second replies to emails are not hidden in its associated thunderbird inbox?

Can anything be done in thunderbird to stop this "feature" or is it absolutely fixed by service providers?
