I've been watching and following along with a Unreal Engine 4 Course on Youtube for some time now (mentioning in case the resource usage has something to do with it), and in the past couple days I've noticed a pretty serious and annoying bug. When I pause the video, tab (Cmd + Tab on MacOS) into Unreal Engine, do some things, then tab back and resume the video, it will play for one frame and then stop and buffer, but the audio will continue playing. The only way to get the video to resume is to skip forward/backward in the video (either with the arrow keys or the progress bar). I've also tried Troubleshooting/Safe mode and the issue still persits.

I need to disable this horrible translator that is now showing up on top of every page I visit, It keeps showing up even after choosing a translation or disabling translations for that language. That is probably a bug, but I don't want to wait for a fix, I need to be able to see the pages I visit completely, this thing prevents me from clicking buttons and and is really anoying.

This is the built-in translation feature since I do not use any translation plugins, and started showing up after an upgrade.

I normally have multiple FF windows open on multiple desktops. After a restart all of a sudden every time I create a new desktop, FF duplicates browser. If I open a new FF Window it will automatically appear across all open desktops.

For the last several years I have had Firefox configured to display all website fonts in my custom font, Dyslexie. As of upgrading to v119 yesterday, I have lost this function; all websites now display their native fonts. I still have Firefox Settings Default Font set to Dyslexie, but it no longer works. Any help would be appreciated.

Up through Monday, 10-16-2023, I could play Amazon Prime Videos. As of Tuesday, 10-17, I no longer can. I can do this on other browsers, e.g. Chrome and Safari. Can this be fixed or do I need to stop using Firefox?

How do I turn off web translation permanently for ALL pages in Firefox 118.0.1?? It´s the most annoying feature so far from Firefox. Even if I delete all languages in preferences, it shows up on every page I visit.

1) Firefox advertised free apps when you signed up for vpn. However, when I signed up for vpn, I didn't get any apps. Did I do something wrong? Why didn't I get the free apps? 2) I don't seem to be able to add the VPN two other computers. It seems to want to sell me (Again) the VPN. I don't want to buy it again, just add my existing VPN to other computers. 3) I have some Macs that run Parallel's. Do I need to add Firefox VPN do the Windows that is running on Mac. Or, does my Mac Firefox VPN somehow protect the windows without adding a separate VPN on windows?

When I use a vpn with firefox (not the firefox vpn), I cannot open normally blocked websites such as twitter or youtube, and instead they open in a sort of half-loaded state (see image). I don't face this problem with other browsers. I have tried deleting and reinstalling firefox, but it doesn't seem to work. Can anyone help out?

I am told to disable pop-up blockers in order to have a payment verified. I do not know what pop-up blockers are, I do not know where they are. When I go to Settings and search for pop-up blockers, I am told "Sorry! There are no results in Settings for "pop-up blockers"; and instructed to visit Firefox Support. I have been sent on this circular quest three times now. Please help me.

Firefox no longer opens my previous session when re-opening the browser. "Open previous windows and tabs" is checked in the general of browser settings, but no longer performs a such. Was never an issue until a few days ago.

After updating Firefox to 116.0.1 my tabs keep randomly crashing. I get some crash reports *occasionally* - meaning not all crashes produce a crash report - but I'm not sure what to do with them, they seem inconclusive. The last report (not for the last crash, though, which didn't produce any report) is bp-3334b934-58b5-4226-887a-235300231117

Every time I do a search for services "near me" (hospitals, hotels, etc.), Firefox is using an out-of-date five-year-old location. Very frustrating! How can I change this? Anyone's help is much appreciated - I just haven't been able to find a link to help me fix it!

So I have the latest version of macOS Ventura, the latest version of Firefox, and the latest version of Roblox. Whenever I try to open a Roblox game from their website (yes, I know. Roblox now has the desktop app so you don't need the website to open a game), it opens the app, but not the link, which means it doesn't open the game :( Does anybody know how to get Firefox to open the link and not just the app? (Btw no hate on firefox)

In macOS you can set up a global keyboard shortcut for the Move Window to Right Side of Screen command via System Settings > Keyboard > Keyboard Shortcuts.... In most apps that support the Move Window to... commands, this will simply move the window to the desired side of the screen when the key combo is pressed.

However, in Firefox the key combo will start the animation as normal but the window will then bounce back to its original location. It's only when the command is activated via a keyboard shortcut that it does the bounce back behavior, though; the command works as intended when activated from the Window menu in the menu bar or from Option + green button in the top left of the window.

The key combo I set up was Shift + Option + Command + Right Arrow, but I've also tried a couple of different key combos and they all did the same bounce back behavior. I've tried it on machines with different versions of macOS (Sonoma beta and Ventura) with the same result. The bounce back behavior also effects the Move Window to Left Side of Screen command.

I've been noticing for the last month that after a few hours in a browser window, I'll suddenly have a pinned tab for some random website. Some for promotional things, others in languages I don't understand, etc. At first I downloaded a webpage blocker, blocked the ones that were pinned, and deleted the tabs. However, after a short while (an hour or two) they would appear again in pinned tabs only this time it would say website blocked.

I uninstalled and reinstalled firefox in hopes that would solve the issue, but it is still happening. I unpin the tabs and delete them immediately after I notice them, but they keep appearing. I really like using Firefox and use it often for work, but I'm concerned for my personal and work security. What should I do?

On MacOS 14.0(Sonoma) Firefox 118.0.2 (64-bit), facing the problem with web.whatsapp.com chat messages. The timestamps for the messages are displayed in UTC and not as per the system time(IST, in my case).

- web telegram shows correct timestamps, opened in same browser session - web whatsapp on Chrome shows correct timestamps - fingerprinting is set to false(was not touched at all).

Any idea what could be wrong? Thanks. -Sachin

I have used Firefox on a 27" MAC for many many years. In fact I have used Firefox on many macs since Firefox was first offered. As of the last update or browser upgrade offered by Mozilla for Firefox for Apple desktops, most all streaming video service no longer work. YouTube, Amazon Prime, and Netflix all stall after a minute or less of selecting a video from the above vendors. I get the little spinning arrow, and then a screen message that states that my ISP is not providing me with enough bandwidth to stream video. Absolute nonsense. Using Safari I have absolutely no issues, problems, stalls, buffering, error messages etc., and the experience is what I used to get from Firefox. I have lots of bandwidth available, and have had a professional network engineering service provider check my internet connection. Even if I make sure no other tabs, applications or other iterations are running, ONLY Firefox, it stalls and will not play video. Then I get another screen message that states that "maybe if you restart your device you may be able to play video". While I realize that Firefox is free, I still think I should have a reasonable expectation that it will continue to provide buffer, stall, and hang free performance when I want to watch YouTube, Amazon Prime and or Netflix.
