I recently changed to Firefox from chrome and the focus on security and privacy was a much needed upgrade. However, every time I close my windows I'm logged out of all my accounts. I checked all the settings that would have that effect even escalating it to a clean install and unfortunately nothing works. After checking the support forums this setting seemed to be the one that fixed things, attached is a screenshot showing that its unchecked and that there is cookie data stored, so I'm really at a loss.

Thunderbird displays messages as a long list. It never did that before an update, and now I can not find out how to turn that nonsense off! I don't want to see every message from some person tabbed across the screen when I search for their name. I want to just pick one message, often a recent message.

How do I search for a message from a random person and only get one message I choose to view?

my electronic health record is freezing using Firefox on 2 different computers in 2 different locations. Internet speed 45 mbps at 1 location and 900 mbps at another. Able to use it on chrome.

When Firefox connects to AMAZON, you do not show full access like other browsers, like Google Chrome or MS Edge. In particular, you do not have access to "sizes" and subliminal access to prices like Google Chrome or MS Edge

My LastPass extension appears as a black box with an elipse. It is red when it is active. I have logged in to LastPass, and when I go to the extensions icon and select "Open Extension" nothing happens. It's not filling in any of my login information.

I keep on getting pop-up ads like the one shown. It started only fairly recently. I have done everything that the Internet suggests but still cannot get rid of them. The ads claim to be from google but somehow I feel they come from some malware. But I can't find the malware.

Firefox browser no longer on W7 laptop. Followed instructions-downloaded setup and installer. Neither will do anything - message says no program association to implement thses files. Help!

I'm trying to run Java in the browser on Linux, but it's not working. I've gone all the way back to Ubuntu 7.10 where the default Java is included with the operating system by default, and it is NOT detected in the latest version of the web browser that it can run, which is 17.

when i go to manage bookmarks i can go to views and sort them by last added, how do i make it, so that when i go to the bookmark drop down menu from the top of the screen so also list the bookmarks in order of last added?

Recently Youtube refuses to play any videos for me, saying adblockers are against their rules. I have uninstalled Adblock, and reset firefox totally. Youtube is still blocking me. It works fine on Chrome. Do I have to switch to Chrome permanently?

Have sold loads on Ebay using only Firefox as the browser. Tried to list another item a few days ago, and after entering the details on the first page (Item description and section to list it in) couldn't get beyond that page. The next page appeared not blank but as light grey filled rectangles where the text etc should be. Obviously tried reload. Same over the next day or so. In desperation, used Edge. No problems with that, using the same first page which Ebay had stored for me. Just tried again with Firefox - same fault.

I recently took a hit from potential malware while looking for a owners manual. I now have a popup that looks like the one attached. It looks to be from Mozilla, but I can't be sure. Can you help with this?
