On a couple of websites, but in particular Rogers.com, the captcha just never ends. It asks to click on all the bicycles, I click on them one at a time until no more appear, hit verify, it brings up something else. It will do this dozens of times and just never ever end.

Switch over to Edge, does the same. Switched to chrome and it works fine. Has google done something to captcha to deny it working on other browsers?

I have checked to see firefox is up to date and it is. I have disabled all extensions/addons. I have run malware/virus scans. On the Rogers community forums there are all kinds of people having problems but there are no solutions on how to fix. Oddly (or not) the problems are similar...captcha won't work on Edge, Firefox but will work on Chrome.

Recaptcha isn't working in Firefox. It works in Chrome, Opera, and Edge with no issues, it will either just go to a check mark or open the window with the pictures to choose, on both regular pages and on the Google Recaptcha Demo site Google Recaptcha Demo site. But when I load a page that requires Recaptcha in Firefox, it just spins forever. It was working fine a few hours ago, and I didn't change any settings or anything in Firefox. I was filling out a job application and it worked fine, then I went to another job application and Recaptcha won't work at all, even on the Recaptcha Demo site.

I'm on version 125.0.3 (64-bit), on Windows 10. Not using a VPN or anything like that, just a standard Ethernet connection, with whatever Charter gives me.

Steps I've tried, none of which have helped:

1. Cleared Cookies. 2. Restart Browser. 3. Restart Computer. 4. Restart Modem and Router. 5. Opening Firefox in troubleshooting mode. 6. Ensured Firefox was up to date. 7. Reinstalling Firefox. 8. Turned Connection Settings to no proxy. 9. Turned off Enhanced Tracking Protection. (It's set on standard otherwise, and I didn't change it) 10. Release/Renew IP via Command Prompt.

I'm genuinely at a loss of what to do, after a couple of hours of searching around for solutions. I don't get how it just stopped working in the span of like ten minutes when I didn't change any settings or anything. Firefox is my main browser and it would be a tremendous pain to have to use another browser for any pages that require Recaptcha.

Any assistance or advice to solve this problem would be greatly appreciated!

Until yesterday everything was fine. I was able to complete recaptcha. But when I tried searching something today, I couldn't do it because of the recaptcha. It was stuck on infinite loading. Every website I visited the problem was there. I tried fixing it from the tips I found in the forum here but nothing seems to work. I was frustrated. Then I tried Brave browser and it was working. Please help me fix this problem. Thank you.

I am using Firefox 125 in Windows 11. And this just happens recently.

Sometimes, quite frequently, when I click the addressbar wanting to input or select a new address. The Firefox UI freezes (before the dropdown list of addresses is shown). The video/audio/other effects are still working, and from task manager, it does not cost more CPU/mem than usual. But it does not response to key press or mouse action. All I can do (that I know of) is killing the processes. The problem does not seem related to "current" webpage I am browsing. And I have not installed new addons for a few months.

Any idea what should I look into?

Hi, I can't use Firefox because a captcha won't complete loading. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, cleared cache and disabled add ons. I am using a vpn (PIA). Chrome and Edge both load and operate OK. Thanks in advance.

Captchas are an ongoing issue. Firefox seems to have a LOT more captchas than other browsers. Is there a problem between Mozilla and Google?

I have three different computers that I can use Thunderbird to access my hotmail account. All three computers can have the exact same server settings. One computer refuses to send emails unless I cancel the send and immediately resend.. Thunderbird ver 115.10.1 (64-bit) Windows 10 Home Ver 22H2 IMAP Mail Server outlook.office365.com Port 993 Connection Security SSL/TLS Authentication 0Auth2 Outgoing SMTP Server smtp.office365.com Port 587 Connection Security STARTTLS 0Auth2 Take Note All three machines can have identical settings listed above or various changes like Normal Password instead of 0Auth2 and/or an Outgoing server can be smtp-mail.outlook.com with normal password or 0Auth2... One computer must be cancelled will sending and when resent, it goes... no problem...immediately. If I don't cancel and wait, for it to send on the 1st attempt, it will eventually timeout on the outgoing server. Then I might have to reenter a password. Very annoying. I have been doing this for years. It is my workaround....

It all started about 3 days ago. I was having problems accessing my att.net email account on both my iMac running Thunderbird 115.10.1 and on my iPhone running iOS 17.4.1. I changed login password and was able to get the mail on iPhone, but not on the computer running Thunderbird. I got the settings information for both POP3 and IMAP from att. I first tried to go into Thunderbird and was able to find the email protocol settings and they were correct for POP3, but still not retrieve email. The error message I last received is, "Sending of password for user ******@att.net did not succeed. Mail Server inbound.att.net responded:[SYS/TEMP] Server error - Please try again later.

Firefox stop from 2 days ago read Google Recaptcha, from nothing.., Dev version to.. I have the last 126.0b8 and both not working, I try disable Tracking Protection and still, clean everything... spinning forever...

I try my Firefox at mobile, that works. I need Firefox working on this. Cant use Chrome...

How do I get Firefox browser to stop from loading automatically upon booting up or restarting?? This has been happening since the last browser update. I checked the Firefox controls but could not find a button to toggle this off. Please advise. Thank you.

Comments on YouTube videos are no longer visible after Firefox version 115.10esr update. They do however work on my other computer which also has Firefox but not an esr version since it has a more current version of windows. I tried deleting all cookies and cache, starting in safe mode, disabling ad-blocking on YouTube but nothing worked. I'm thinking of rolling back to the previous update but would rather have this problem fixed.

I deleted Thunderbird, than Installed latest version. Now in Thunderbird "Use Primary Password" is clicked so I can't reset primary P/W. Previous P/W doesn't work because there is no P/W there as far as I can see. Instructions I found: "Tools> Developer Tools> Error> etc. There is no "Error" button. I use Disqus daily. A few months ago it became necessary to disable the shield in the address line. Yesterday captcha quit working. I input my email and password and click captcha and the circle starts spinning and never ends. This happens on all sites using Disqus.

 Is there any way to get Firefox to work with Disqus and Captcha?

I have had Thunderbird email account for years and now I have problems getting my emails to come through on a regular basis. I have to shut down my PC and then restart to get emails to come through. What is the problem. Thanks, James Craig Herring

With the moving of Cox emails to Yahoo would it be feasible for Thunderbird to put an instruction list(with screenshots) of how to get all our TB email accounts from Cox to TB? Do we have to delete all our TB email accounts and re-enter them into TB under the new Yahoo or can we just change the server settings on the existing Cox settings? If just changing server settings what are the settings for the new yahoo? All my accounts are IMAP so if instructions could be made, maybe one for IMAP and one for POP for those who use either. After updating Firefox to Firefox 125.0.3, Google ReCaptcha2 stopped working on my sites (I use the invisible version). Then I checked the version from the official website and it doesn’t work either.

I read about self = this on stackoverflow, but this also does not help on my sites. After clicking, nothing happens, and there is an error in the console.

Has anyone encountered this?

Tested on absolutely clean Firefox without plugins, with security turned off, without cookies and account.

When i start browsing from Holland IP via VPN the problem are solving. In Chrome, Edge ReCaptcha2 working fine.

Problem with using space bar when trying to post replies on YT or other sites. Can key text, but space bar does not work. On Google search page, can get only one space between words. Tried 2 different keyboards w/same problem. Doesn't seem to happen on Chrome or Safari. Re-installed Firefox with same results. Any thoughts, please? Thank you.
