I've tried EVERYTHING I can think of to fix this issue. When 'trying' to open a YouTube video in Firefox, I'm 'informed' that I'm offline - try reconnecting (or something like that). I'm NOT offline. Three other browsers have NO problem opening these YouTube videos; it's only Firefox. Can someone PLEASE come up with a REAL resolve to this issue? I don't want to give up on Firefox and go back to Chrome. But this issue is VERY annoying. Thanks to anyone who can provide constructive resolution(s). AL R.

With the moving of Cox emails to Yahoo would it be feasible for Thunderbird to put an instruction list(with screenshots) of how to get all our TB email accounts from Cox to TB? Do we have to delete all our TB email accounts and re-enter them into TB under the new Yahoo or can we just change the server settings on the existing Cox settings? If just changing server settings what are the settings for the new yahoo? All my accounts are IMAP so if instructions could be made, maybe one for IMAP and one for POP for those who use either. Our MD laptop thunderbird configure for mail solution. 25.3.2024 auto update run 115 to 125 version. after 125 version in thunderbird mail view option are changed. in version 115 that mail view option i working. how to uninstall latest update 125 or how rollback older version 115.

I sent an email with multiple BCCs and no CCs or TOs, I put myself as one of the BCCs.

I did not receive it and I do not think anybody else did as well since I asked a few people.

The email is in the sent folder. I tried forwarding the email from my sent folder to myself as CC, and that worked. I also tried fowarding as BCC, and that worked.

So what is going on? Is BCC working? How can I know for certain? Do I need to foward the email as BCCs to all my BCCs to get this to work?

For some time now, I've been experiencing the following issues with PiP:

• The floating window opens in a random (and annoying) place and does not place itself automatically on the lower right corner as it used to (where I always move it, so it has no memory as it used to)
• It's impossible to keep the "always on top" mode on by default, and I have to do it every single time
• When I toggle windows, the PiP window is always the next one, even when it was not the one I switched from, and I have to always toggle twice for switching between two windows when I have a 3rd PiP window
• When I change language using the keyboard shortcut, it changes the language on the PiP window, and I have to use the language icon bar. Then, the PiP window becomes activated, and I have to toggle back to the window I was working on before (on which I wanted to change language). I have the "separate languages for separate windows" option activated.

It's been some months now, and all those things were working before an update but never came back...

Does anyone know if there's a way of fixing these issues? I've tried things I found online but nothing seems to work.

Enabling my incoming emails. This has been failing for weeks. I reset my account with thunderbird and made a donation (thinking that was the problem) but I am still not receiving incoming emails. Tried and checked all my account settings - cannot find what the problem is. Please help.

I removed the Firefox Relay, however whenever I want to open my email its still there and I have to keep entering my email address manually, How do \i get rid of it?

Running 115.5.0 and want to export my contact list to be able to use it in a spreadsheet. The export function in the Tools dropdown only allows for export of "accounts, messages, address books and settings to a ZIP file." What happened to the ability to export just the address book separately to a csv file? Please help. Thank you.

I spent a few hours trying all the suggestions that i found by searching. Why is it so difficult to simply DISABLE FOREVER the threaded sort that so many of us find painful? Why can't we have a simple way to tell Thunderbird: "never ever sort by threaded"? As a last resort, i am currently searching for old versions of Thunderbird.

I'm very confused. I've been using Thunderbird as my email server for a few years. Recently, I stopped receiving emails December 12, 2023. I sent in a problem according to the help page that I found. I believe Mozilla is now the server for Thunderbird? I don't even know if that is accurate (part of my confusion). MANY Years of experience in this Industry has taught me that the Most "UNSTABLE" types of Files, across Numerous Different Manufacturers and Products are Email Files. Trying to Migrate (Often IMPORTANT) emails from one system to another as the Computer Industry advances too fast for its own good, OFTEN results in the LOSS of Data, and Duplicating the Contents of emails in different File Types, before Migrating, Compacting, or whatever, takes FAR TOO LONG. So I've learnt to LEAVE The Files ALONE and Try to keep Duplicates, when time permits. I'm a New User of Thunderbird (because my previous Microsoft Product was "losing" files) and today, for the First Time I was ask to allow Thunderbird to COMPACT its files. I worry that this will make the Files HARDER / SLOWER to Access, MORE LIKELY to be LOST, and LESS EASY to Migrate at some time in the future. My Computer has TONS of Unused Space, so I have no Personal Need to Recover the 230MB Thunderbird is telling me it will Free Up.

What is your recomendation - based Primarly on the RELIABILITY and SECURITY of my Data.

I have one message filter (for the Spam folder) with 50 rules to delete known repeat offenders from the Spam folder. The filter doesn't seem to work at all, even if I try to run the filter manually. Why won't this filter work?
