I would like to view the individual files in my cash to find an image that appeared in my web browser. The site was feeding me the image via JavaScript so I don't actually have a link to go to in order to see it again.

The new search setting on the address bar is great especially after you decided to diminish your app by only showing me 2 history in an update a year ago. Now i can just search my history again with more than 2 results. However, i want it defaulted to search my history. Why is Google the default and how can i change it?

Maybe I am blind and wise developers already have this option but I doubt it!! and my obvious question is how in the world I have to sync all my collection list of web pages ???? and pinned sites ??? why this is so hard for a dev brain to understand that if you made a option for storing weblinks so should be a way of saving all this !!!! VERY OBVIOUS THING !!but in 2023 we still have problems losing bookmarks and other data !!! because of horible app design (not UI) !! im in the process in moving to new phone and I'm stuck because I don't see a way of saving all my old phone to ne without deleting lot of info or with lot of manual work to copy at least something and this is 2023 !!!

...Desktop site option setting does not stick! After switching tabs for 5 mins, it changes back to mobile site view & I HAVE TO X out of tab, reopen it, & check desktop site again! You can't just reset the desktop site option on & off either, doesn't work. You MUST X out the tab & start all over. ...It's a real pia! In older versions it always worked, always defaulted even days later! However, NOT in the last few versions, why can't it still currently work now? It should! ...And god for bid you find any real support! And probably won't get it here either. ...."IS" there ANY real, live support around here? A developer email? Anything??? Hey, Firefox, here are two things that need to be developed/produced/made-to-happen. The ability to: 1) When watching a playlist on YouTube, on full screen, there is currently no button to skip ahead (or go backward) to the next video in the playlist. We have to inconveniently "come out of" full screen to skip ahead (or go back to the previous) to the next video, and then of course re-engage full screen. I'd think by now, in 2023, you could have developed that. You should make Firefox on Android as close to the way the actual YouTube app operates as possible. 2) When in YouTube, the comments, guys...obviously you know you only offer the option to view the comment section as what YouTube calls "Top comments" but you currently don't offer the option to switch to the "Newest first" view. Come on, guys. We should have that option by now in Firefox mobile browser.

By default, pages are in mobile view mode. The desktop mode button doesn't apply to all pages and it is not permanent.

Can you please move this to settings with a permanent desktop mode on/off switch that applies to ALL & future pages?

I have used Firefox on Android for years and at some point, it updated and all of a sudden none of my addons were compatible.

A couple of those were incredibly useful. For instance, I do not use the Facebook app, I only access it through the web. Until the change, I had a brilliant Facebook ad blocker that worked wonders. Now, that blocker will not work.

There is no alternative available (except to revert to using Chrome who did not ruin compatibility).

What have others done?

Installing the app is not an option. Hard stop.

Is it possible for me to revert to the last prior version that actually worked with addons?

I'm using a Galaxy A13 5G and A13 4G and when I go to have Firefox save a password for an app after entering my credentials, it doesn't offer to save the credentials. It will prompt me to enter my phone's PIN when I select a username and password field in an app, but it doesn't do anything. The password manager works most of the time with the browser though.

Really would like this fixed since I prefer to use firefox's password manager.

I dont trust dark reader so in firefox desktop i use settings override the colors specified by the page with your selections above to Always, for me is enough, every site is dark and doesnt slow anything, but the real question is how to change or should i say force every site to dark in firefox nightly android, of course in nightly we have about:config available so is hope to do that without extensions but i dont know which line will do the right job? I found something like “browser.display.background_color” but where will be option to activate override the colors like in desktop? Thank you so much as always.

Cheap wireless keyboards came out a decade ago, but mobile had no support, so I thought "okay, it will just take a few weeks." But weeks became years. Over a decade passed, still no progress. I will do it for you for free if you let me. If the problem was Firefox, I would just switch to Chrome, but building Chromium for Android is even harder and it also needs patched to get keyboard support.

Hi, This is more of a feature request than a question. I know, that the nav bar of Android Firefox auto-hides, as soon I scroll on a website. But what about non-scroll sites or fullscreen sites? On those I have a perma-nav-bar, impossible to hide and impossible to use the full screen. I always need to use a different browser specially just for that. Thats super annoiyng.

Is there any chance, to get a solution for that?

Tldr: it would be much more usable to have the back button return to History search results, and also to be able to right click those results to open in a new tab.

When using the history feature, most of the time I am looking for something but I have done a bunch of looking for that thing and so my history is kind of polluted with false results.

These results might be a month back. If I'm trying to go through those false results, I need to open more than one. The history search feature, though, doesn't persist beyond a single click, and does not have the opening new tab function. So, if I am to go through those results, I have to keep redoing the same history search.

Why i can't resume downloading when I close Firefox browser for Android The download bar disappears from the notification panel ? It's better if active downloads appear on the downloads page so that we can manage them

I have no idea if it's even possible, but on Desktop I can sort my history in the order I've visited them, from the latest being on top to the ones visited a long time ago towards the bottom (and this should really be the default method for sorting history).

To me, browsing the web is equally important on Desktop and on Mobile.

I have a really powerful desktop PC and I use Firefox for Windows with uBlock Origin. The speed difference between a Chromium based browser and Firefox on my desktop is negligible.

On the other hand, using Firefox on Android is atrocious, laggy, sluggish, slow as hell. I used Bromite (the lightest and most privacy focused chromium browser on Android) and I don't wanna go back. Sure, I'll lose the pristine cosmetic filtering and blocking capabilities of uBlock origin but the websites will load twice/thrice as fast and the app feels fast.

Now, if I change browser on mobile I will have to change it on Desktop too, cause of features like Bookmark syncing, sending pages to mobile and viceversa ecc...

I need a solution. I like firefox, what they are doing as a non profit organization, the battle against Chromium, the fact that adblocking works better ecc... but I don't want to compromise on mobile performance.

What should I do? Switch to something like Brave or is there any solution? Thanks.
