Win 7 Home Premium Firefox Version 101.0.1

'Privacy & Security'->'Cookies and Site Data', 'Clear Data.'

When 'Clear Now,' Cached Web Content; is clicked, it does not zero out. (It used to clear completely).

The browser webpage has been refreshed, the browser closed and reopened, and the computer restarted but the cache does not reset.

This issue started on the morning (Pacific time) of June 26-Is this a known glitch or am I missing a detail?

I have seen many references to this problem that Mozilla does not seem to want to fix.

I have to log in to my (remote) server regulary using the server IP address - there is not a domain name.

Every time (cookies/history always cleared on exit) it presents the message "Warning: Potential Security Risk Ahead" and then have to click advanced then accept the risk. Under previous versions I use, this could be stored so you do not have to go thrugh this process EVERY time on logging in to the server.

Everyone knows you can NOT assign a security certificate to an IP address so why does Mozilla not take this into consideration?

Will they change this in future versions?

Is there a work around (no config changes seem to work or chrome changes)

The update Firefox 100.0.1 ( or 2 ) has a bug: Firefox doesn't "see" the Fritz!Powerline ( LAN over Powerline adaptors ) and thus I can't enter the Fritz!Box. Even typing the IP address of the Fritz!Box doesn't help, because there is "no connecting" beyond the PC. The hardware works, so I can send and receive emails, but I can't access the internet via the firfox browser. Stepping back to 99.0.1, I had to "create a new profile" and all my previous ( before the update to 100.0.1 ) settings were lost, all bookmarks vanished ... I am rather angry, you know? This mail I'm sending via my notebook, as I this connects via 100 Mbit Lan network from an other room and as I had to "register" just to be able to complain ...

Hi there , I am interested to know if Mozilla support group is aware of the problem Microsoft update KB4474419 causes? I am running widows 7 sp1. I installed the update as you mentioned in your Firefox 100 release notes. After reboot , I got a beep and a black screen - win 7 won't start. I had to find a way to delete the update so I could boot my system back. I asked few of my colleagues that use the same OS and they experienced the exact same problem. Surfing the web , makes it quite clear - this update is faulty and not compatible with win 7 as Microsoft claims. I would like to get a straight answer - can I update my FF99 to FF100 , without the notorious KB4474419 , or , as of FF100 , win7 sp1 is no longer applicable to Firefox ? Thanks. look4

I am a 25 year user of firefox and this is the worst it has been 100.0 On more and more sites Firefox fails to work on forms and certain web pages.

forms dont show up forms dont execute once complete certain website actions dont work

my belief is these are special scripts and not the basic website display, but I am having to switch to chrome more and more to acomplish my daily activities.

I have updated recently to 100 and I find it hard to believe I have these problems.

I'm having a problem with websites not remembering my zoom percentage settings. The zoom settings were remembering on my administrator account until recently. The strange thing is that zoom settings on websites ARE remembered in my standard user account on the same device. I am talking about private browsing only & after I close the session & reopen another Firefox session. Thank you

Goodd day from UK I run firefox esr 115.9.1 and find the the F5 refresh key does NOT refresh the images. The same applies when using the "reload" icon in the menu.

Reading other posts, nothing seems to apply here.

There are NO add-ons at all and everything is cleared on close. The text DOES seem to change.

As a web developer checking updates this is extremely annoying as only hope is keep closing the browser (to clear everything) and restart - the loads new images etc.

I use several versions of Firefox (2, 20, 56) to ensure compatability with olf browsers and it seems to be only those over 100 with this issue.

Does anyone know if this is a "feature" or a"bug" and is there any simple (!) way around the issue?

Thanks

p.s. ALWAYS happens, not intermittently

HI! I posted earlier about problems accessing websites after updating the browser to 115.2.0 esr. Earlier in the day I had accessed these websites with no problems .... now after the update installed, shopify is trying to validate whether I am a human and verify the browser. Resulting in an endless loop of identifying myself as a human and it trying to validate the browser.

I have been using Firefox now for 8 years with out a problem but now I have one. I have Norton's antivirus and the last 7 scans I have done Norton's had found and quarantined the Trojan Horse virus found in the Firefox program. I have uninstalled Firefox and re installed with a fresh re-load but after 1 day the virus was back in the Firefox program. I really want to use Firefox and am respectfully requesting someone help me re install the program please. I have attached a screen shot for you. Thank you in advance. Bernie. Every time I open Firefox and search for something it comes up in Spanish and there is a box to check if you want English. I have checked my preferred language in the settings and that is English (US) and I also did a purge caches and when I close Firefox and re-open it reverts back to Spanish with the box to check if you want English. I also have Chrome on my system and it works properly. If I change my search to using Bing it also works properly. I am not sure if this is a Firefox issue or a Google issue and I would appreciate any assistance I can get. I also re-downloaded Firefox to make sure I had the English option and did a re-install, with no change. I would appreciate ant assistance I can get. Thnaks.

As described above I'm now seeing section descriptions in a program app I've been using in my work successfully over the past two years. Now, all of a sudden, the section titles in the program are faded gray almost to white, which makes entering info (not to mention eye strain), really difficult. Just wondering if this might have been something that occurred with the last Firefox update.

I've tried adjusting the screen resolution but it makes no difference. See the screenshot with this message.

Serif fonts help with readability, and are therefore preferable in the body of a book. The “serif” is the decorative stroke that finishes each end of a letter (think Times Roman). Serif fonts are easier on the reader’s eye than sans-serif fonts; the stroke leads the reader’s eye from one letter to the next.
