how do I change the "from" and "subject" font appearance in thunderbird inbox list view? They are currently a little bizzare with the sender appearing smaller than the subject line etc. I am not familliar with .css file settings and so will need to be considered a simpleton with any explanations. Any aswers I have seen refer to fire fox and assume that I know how to create the changes required or add a .css file somewhere. Thanks in advance. I attach a screen shot of my current inbox view . I have a program that continuously monitors the download folder under Windows 11 for a specific file and retrieves it. I download this file in Firefox, but the said program gives an error.

I have noticed that when files are downloaded in FireFox, they already appear in the Downloads folder with the corresponding file extension with 0 bytes and these are then apparently swapped or merged with the .parts file.

The problem is that the mentioned program now tries to retrieve the unfinished file, which then leads to an error.

Does anyone know if it is possible to customize Firefox so that the file only appears in the download folder when the download is fully complete?

Hello, when I put a photo in the text or in the signature, the photo is attached in the destination email, if I add the logo photo and social media photos, they all appear in the destination email attachment. Even when the person replies to our email, those images are attached to our email. I have put all the settings on HTML and tested different modes, but my problem has not been solved and when I activate or deactivate 'Attach the signature from a file instead' the problem is persist or don't show picture correctly. What is the solution that picture show correctly in email and don't appear in attachment?

I have vision problems so i use enlarged text and color modifiers. The new mozilla thunderbird format SQUEEZES the text and shrinks it into HALF a screen. This is VERY difficult for me to even see… and navigat9ng thunderbirds menus has always been very difficult and not user friendly. Add to this the confusing reordering of emails received so that newer emails now stack UNDER older emails…. And its completely frustrating to find anything. I have to scroll down hunting for possible new emails burried down below dozens of others on a tiny scrunched window. PLEASE how do i change it back…. This is too difficult to function in………

After the latest update (Monday) my Lastpass extension icon disappeared from the extension toolbar. It was still listed in the Add-ons and themes page. How do I get it visible again? I've tried to right click the Lasspass icon but "pin it" does not appear. I've deleted the extension, rebooted and reinstalled with no difference.

Hello, all the sudden, news site comments don't show and after research here I learned it might be enhanced protection tracking settings. I tried all the settings and nothing seems to work well (not tech savvy). Strict = user comments blocked and all the other settings allow so many ads they cover content and/or there are a hundred on a page. On a desktop. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Whenever I receive an image as an attachment and I click on it and then comes opening abc image window. Since a couple of version back there is an image preview and the action buttons under them. In my case it is just trying to be. And I cannot change the window size, nor can I scroll in it.

Am I doing something wrong? Thanks Greg

I'm having some difficulty getting my email signature for my new job set up correctly.

I want the company logo to appear on the left, with my details to the right of the logo, as seen in the first screenshot.

However, currently, the text appears incorrectly underneath the company logo. I have tried pasting the signature into a blank email, generating the HTML code and pasting that into the signature text box, yet it still displays incorrectly when sending an email.

The HTML for my email signature is as follows:

I have search and have seen screen shots. But not actually how to do it. In firefox the Application Menu "the three lines or the Hamburger." How do you move it to the Left side of the screen instead on the default location on the top right. Also please correct me if this is not possible. And thank you in advance. I am on the latest version and currently using windows 10.

I'm debugging other problems. I go to troubleshoot mode and come back and my fonts changed.

I head into settings to fix this. Attached the view of my change while debugging to make it really big.

This does nothing. Thunderbird doesn't change the font, the size, nothing.

I'm starting to think I'm losing my mind.

Innymi słowy używając klawisza NAPISZ domyślnie w polu nadawcy pojawia się adres, którego nie chcę. W programie ustawiłem inne adres wysyłania, niż ten który się pojawia. Problem wg forum jest znany od przynajmniej roku 2019...

Attached image, how is it possible that Thunderbird allows Bit Defender to install a spam add on and then protects it to so I can't remove the add on ?

This is just mind boggling.

Further, there is a "Why" link which should explain any logic to doing this, note there is not, and it explains nothing of the sort.

I have better things to do than run behind thunderbird to delete an extension which thunderbird has allows to "Can't be removed".

Is thunderbird with us ? or against us ?

Is Thunderbird ever going to fix the 'custom colours'? After the last major update, TB would not longer hold any custom colours. This is problematic because the colours offered are either too light or too dark to be read easily.

I have several mail accounts connected to my thunderbird Version 115.10.1.

One of them is a account that regularly notifies me if about updates on my homepage. I want to receive those emails, but I don't want a notification about them. I do however want to receive notifications about emails from other accounts.

How can I disable the notifications for only one account?

whenever i close a single open tab, firefox closes and i have to reopen it to my home page. In the past i could actually revert back to my home page after closing tabs. And then can only close down firefox by hitting the top right X. Unfortunately i have forgotten what i did last time, so any help would be appreciated Ta Doug G

Currently, when I try and open downloaded .txt files and .log files (that is, when I click on them directly from the download pop-up that appears at the top-right of the browser), Firefox inexplicably opens Aegisub on my machine as the app to use. This is in contrast to when I open it directly from within my file browser, where it opens the Kate text editor, as suggested by the default app option in the permissions of the filetype.

How do I change the apps Firefox uses to open downloaded files? I've tried going into my settings and looking at applications, but .txt and .log don't appear, so I'm not quite sure what to do.

I'm on Kubuntu 22.04.3 LTS, using the Firefox deb package.

Using a watch face on my Galaxy Watch 6 (MD332 from Play store) that has a MAIL complication that is not updating correctly. Using K-9 Mail on my phone with GMail and Outlook accounts. Anyone have any ideas how I can get the MAIL complication to sync correctly with phone?
