Hi, I seem to be having trouble syncing. I have an account which has 25 years' worth of emails on it, organised into folders. I reorganised the folders, and now on thunderbird they appear empty even though webmail shows them to contain emails.

I have tried going offline and downloading messages, changing my password, restarting, and clearing the startup cache.

How do I fix this, please?

Have been unable to view readers comments for a number of weeks and can figure out how to fix. it is not all the time, like last night were available but not this morning. All other browsers there is no issue including DuckDuckGo. Am using Ublock Origin, but have been using for years with no issue, even when turn off result the same.

Email from a trusted address over past decade is suddenly going to Junk as of today. Cannot see how to whitelist the Sender, and googling the question tells me to go to Tools>Options, however Options does not show in the Tools menu.

Hi all. I cannot seem to add my school email to Thunderbird. I love the platform so it would be great if I could figure this out.

My email address ends in @hws.edu. It seems to be run through Microsoft, but the 2 factor authentication takes you to their own https://sso.hws.edu/...

I have tried adding, just the email (and it says that the configuration isn't recognized by Mozilla's ISP), and then also just putting in the password (where it says, authentication failed either the entered credentials are incorrect or a separate username is required for logging in. This username is usually your Windows domain login or without the domain.) I don't know what\how the "Your login ex: YOURDOMAIN\yourusername" works.

I have no idea how to do manual configuration but would be willing to try. 

Any help would be appreciated

Recently I have been having an issue where all new incoming message to my primary email account will also end up in the inbox of my secondary email account. So basically, when I open Thunderbird and say 45 new messages appear in the inbox of my primary account (myname1@provider.com) those same 45 messages will also end up in the inbox of my secondary account(myname2@provider.com), even thought the messages were only addressed to the primary account. I checked to see if this was an issue with my internet provider, but when I check messages on their webmail, it only ends up in the correct account. Thanks for your help.

Google stopped DRM support for 32bit Linux. What is the alternative?

My computer Is still good for playing videos for lower resolutions and I am using it this way.. but some videos are not launched because of lack of DRM support. I dont want to throw it into the garbage yet. I hope there is some alternative to Google, for example from Adobe?

The color on top of the Desktop is a blue gray color not black like it shows on the instructions steps when there is a picture showing the menu with instructions. I am getting a message when I open Firefox saying that "Open or Refresh Firefox" It has caused me a problem when clicking on it

Also, I don/t know if this the community help which I am trying to get help because of the problems I am having.

Question: Does Firefox runs on Chromium or it it a Chromium?

I'm using a VPN on my computer and phone and when I try to connect to the mail server, Thunderbird gives me an error saying that the mail server has disconnected. But whe… (funda kabanzi)

I'm using a VPN on my computer and phone and when I try to connect to the mail server, Thunderbird gives me an error saying that the mail server has disconnected. But when I disconnect from the VPN, everything works. This happens only with one mail server, on the others everything works OK even via VPN.

However, the the mail from this server is coming to my phone (where I use K-9 Mail).

I also tried to connect to the mail server via openssl, with the command "openssl s_client -connect mail.server.net:993 -crlf"

The connection is successful (when I'm on the VPN), but when I enter the command "a LOGIN my.username MYPASSWORD", it gives an error:

a NO [UNAVAILABLE] Maximum number of connections from user+IP exceeded (mail_max_userip_connections=20)

I have set the "Maximum Number of server connections to cache" to 1 in Thunderbird, I have set to check for mail every 12 minutes (it already was 15 minutes on the phone before), and it is still the same.

Any idea how to solve the issue? I am connecting to this server with the same username and from the same (VPN) IP only from my phone and my computer, so I find it really strange that there are more than 20 simultaneous connections...

Why is it, that I have NOT been able to receive my e-mails FOR THE PAST SEVERAL DAYS NOW? The last thing you sent me was a notice that there was some sort of faulty access by someone to my e-mail account and that I would have to change my password. I HAVE MADE SEVERAL ATTEMPTS TO DO THIS, BUT EVIDENTLY, MY ATTEMPTS HAVE FAILED. Could you please help me now to accomplish this? When I try to send a message from my Thunderbird POP Server account I get:

Try again never works

I'm having trouble with my Thunderbird app (version 115.11.1) on macOS. I'm trying to add my Google accounts, but after I attempt to connect them, I receive the following warning message: "Unable to log in at server. Probably wrong configuration, username or password."

I've checked the configuration multiple times to ensure it's correct. Here are the settings I'm using for Gmail:

Incoming Server (IMAP): Server Name: imap.gmail.com Port: 993 Connection Security: SSL/TLS Authentication Method: OAuth2 Username: [my email address]

Outgoing Server (SMTP): Server Name: smtp.gmail.com Port: 465 Connection Security: SSL/TLS Authentication Method: OAuth2 Username: [my email address]

I've also emptied all saved passwords and allowed cookies from sites without any exceptions. Is the version of Thunderbird I have still incompatible with Gmail? Or is there another issue that I might be missing?

Running Win 11 Pro with the Firefox - 64 bit - All pupdated per june 9th.

ISSUE: Website tells me I have an 'add blocker' or the product 'addblocker' installed. I don't. However I get blocked even viewing my own website: fleksjobbernetvaerket.dk .... and others as well.... It's full of Google add's.

SOLUTION: I searched for how to solve this, but none of it is working, not even re-setting or re-installing Firefox, emptying cache, files and folders. I kinda gave up on this.
