I just found out I cannot longer drag an icon from the search bar to the my bookmark toolbar. I loved this feature because it would let me organize my bookmarks with just icons, and have them readily available. But now, I can't do it, not even dragging the URL across the toolbar! Why? Is there a way to fix this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Any addon I use to open a tab with Google Chat, Keep, Calendar or Messages results in opening the Google Account Help page. Including apps that let you add links to Spaces. If I click the sign in button it just reloads the page. I have zero issues signing into those in my browser.

G'day, I cannot understand why I cannot get to send any e-mails. I receive this popup. I have no idea what I did. I am in my 80s and was born too early to grasp a lot of I T.' I would appreciate somebody to tell me what I need to do please. Cheers Malcolm

IMAP account on HostGator.

In the last 9 months or so, every once in a while (sometimes several times in a row!) when replying to a message, Thunderbird does not set the \Answered flag on the IMAP server.

I enabled IMAP logging and finally caught this happening. The reply is sent and copied to the Sent folder, as it should, but the original email is never flagged as \Answered.

I can't seem to see a pattern why Thunderbird skips this step, occasionally.

I use the Mozilla Thunderbird email program and have just been overwhelmed by the number of "bookmarks" appearing under the "Bookmarks Toolbar." I don't want these additional bookmarks that I did NOT select. Moving them one by one is tedious--and I think new bookmarks are added to the toolbar if I delete any. How do I stop this? Is there a way to eliminate the added bookmarks in mass rather than singly? Thanks,

As of Sunday, Thunderbird can no longer reach my ATT server to download email. It has behaved for ten to fifteen years. Last time someone at ATT fixed it. I have been on the phone or on screen with ATT most of my waking hours since Sunday. (In the process I lost my internet, my landline, my cell connection, etc.) Everything is restored except the connection between Thunderbird and ATT. Everyone thinks changing my password will do it. Done it four times. It gets me into the ATT mail. I have replaced the password in Thunderbird settings with it to no avail. Is there anything you can think of? Not only is Thunderbird more attractive than ATT, I have thirty years of mail boxes there, a continuation from Eudora. I will appreciate your wisdom.

My thunderbird configuration file in appdata/roaming is huge -- 8 GB. I was trying to clean out old stuff and deleted all the messages in Archives. Then I emptied the trash. BIG MISTAKE! all my gmail accounts now have an empty inbox. I'm not sure if when I delete a message from inbox, if it also deletes it from Archives. Why does TBird store my gmail inbox in archives? My configuration file is still 8GB, so maybe they are still out there somewhere.

I keep getting this message...please advise, thank you: Sending of the message failed. The message was not sent due to exceeding the allowed number of recipients. The server responded: Insufficient system storage.

When I launch Thunderbird I get the following message:

Secure connection failed

This could be a problem with the server's configuration, or it could be someone trying to impersonate the server. If you have connected to this server successfully in the past, the error may be temporary, and you can try again later.

AND Thunderbird then automatically downloads emails without asking me for a password. I have just migrated to a new desktop computer (MSI CUBI 5) and this started immediately.

When I try to send email I get a message telling me my outgoing server does not have a certificate, but this doesn't appear to be Thunderbird's problem?

I'm not happy about any of this? Can you advise me please where I should be directing my request for help? It doesn't seem like it should be a Thunderbird issue, but the address includes the word mozilla so I am sending it to you...

greetings, I had trouble with firefox crashing, so i uninstalled it and reinstalled it and now I have lost all my passwords and bookmarks from the previous installation. I have tried to fix it, but I am completely computer illiterate. Please help. I am unable to do this with directions found in my search. I need someone to do it FOR me. Please help.
