On my PC's Firefox wont connect to my work servers"DQS Worldwide". I have tried to connect to,"auditcenter.dqsus.com". The page times out and wont connect. It works with Opera and Yandex but not fire fox. I have tried to connect in Michigan,California and Europe. Can you fix this issue so that I can connect to "auditcenter.dqsus.com" and use Firefox. There are login pages that have saved usernames I want to clear but am unable to. I have gone to settings. Under passwords I have everything unchecked. I have examined "Saved passwords" and it is showing "No passwords saved". I have tried with all of the Passwords options checked and unchecked but I all ways see"No passwords saved". Please help.

Firefox is my primary browser. I get this Network protocol error message so often now that I am considering using another web browser. See below It happens with sites I routinely use. I have tried several of the solutions from Firefox and also searched other solutions online to no avail. I like the Firefox web browser. Can you provide me some other solutions

I am having problems playing a particularly demanding video from YouTube (https://youtu.be/-W_nFlIAWFM) which runs at 4K/30 fps. It is a video taken from a drone flying over the Matterhorn in Europe. Here is my configuration: 1. I have a 200Mb connection to the internet and bandwidth testing confirms that it runs at a consistent 195 - 202 Mb. 2. I am using Firefox 126.0 on a dual boot machine running Ubuntu 22.04 LTS and Windows 10 (both OSes show similar stuttering and pausing). 3. My hardware is a Gigabyte Aorus Z690i motherboard with 32 GB of RAM and an Intel i5-12600K processor and an NVidia GeFroce RTX 2060 Super graphics card. I have tried disabling "Use hardware acceleration" in Firefox and also disabling all add-ons and rebooting. This hasn't resolved the problem. When I watch the same video in Google Chrome, it seems to display a much slower frame rate than 30fps but doesn't stutter. I have concluded that this video must be a super demanding one to render. There are many picture elements changing constantly. But is there a way to watch this at 4K/30fps with it playing smoothly and at the correct frame rate?

I am curious as to why Mozilla/Firefox doesn't seem interested in matching Chrome for addons for popular dropshipping apps such as CJDropshipping, DSers and AutoDS. These are well catered for in Chrome and allow easy import of products into stores such as Shopify. They save a lot of time for already busy store owners and staff yet Firefox loyalists are forced to switch over and use Chrome to make life easier and save time. For someone who has been using Firefox across both Linux and Windows since it's 2004 launch, it is galling and almost physically debillitating to have to resort to this each time. If I were any good at coding I would surely fix this serious shortcomming.

Please Mozilla look to this and provide us with better options.

Hello, I own and operate my own business in the automotive repair sector however my direct computer knowledge is not sufficient in many cases. My issue is that my Gmail and Thunderbird is linked to send messages to my clients for estimate purposes. Incoming mail to Gmail as well as outgoing from Gmail gets copied into Thunderbird. Assuming that Thunderbird had so many emails on the screen I asked the internet on how to do a mass email delete. Now I assume "that" is the reason why all my labels/folders are now empty I can both Gmail and Thunderbird? These folders held important invoices, contact information and just important information for me to go back into should a situation require it. How do I recover all of my deleted messages in Thunderbird? Will this repopulate the folders with my missing information?? The individual who set it up for me is an expert in the field however I am unable to make any contact with him. He's not responding to any of my messages or calls. Please help. Now please remember I am very ignorant when it comes to this type of experience. Please provide me with the most elementary explanations for this recovery process. I'm running both versions of firefox on my mac by renaming the .app for nightly. However, when I click on a link on an application, it seems to default to my nightly version instead of release.

For both versions, the "default browser" setting is enabled. One thing I tried was letting chrome take the default again, and setting it from the release version after. Both versions then showed it checked again. I cannot uncheck it from the beta version.

It seems they might be reporting to the OS as the same app for this purpose.

Another thing I tried was changing the app name in it's Info.plist. Now, I see a new name in the menu bar and it shows as a distinct browser in the OS' "default browser" settings. However, it doesn't seem to solve my issue. All links still open in the Beta, even if the only one currently open is Release.

Is there a way to have it default to the normal version of firefox?

I need to migrate the complete profile (all settings, bookmarks, passwords etc) from a snap install to an apt install on the same system. Currently I have both versions installed, but i want to remove the abomination that is snap..

I tried copying ~/snap/firefox/common/.mozilla/firefox files to ~/.mozilla/firefox but that doesnt seem to work. Since this is a multi-user system i dont want to rely on mozilla accounts to sync everything to the cloud.

What do i need to do in order to migrate all the data from one install to another?

I just updated Firefox & added recommended things. I went to "https://www.cranecu.org/" As soon as I hit the LogIn button I got an "Error 404" message. However, I called the office help & they suggested I try another browser. I switched to Safari the button works just fine. Any Suggestions? I am not the sharpest tack in the box when it comes to computers so please be simple. Thank You

I installed the Facebook Container some time ago. But recently realized that Facebook is tracking me, because I'm getting targeted adds on FB. I have also had Firefox set to always use Private Browsing. Today I discovered that the Facebook Container dose not work in Private Browsing. SO, What is the best way to keep FB and others out of my business (short of not using FB)? All this time I thought I was protecting myself and I have not been. HELP!

I'm not sure if this is an issue or a suggestion. The thing is, I bought a chatbot which supports voice input. Every Chromium browser displays the respective input icon and works great. Sadly, Firefox, my favorite browser and the one I use to promote, won't even display this icon.

I just wanted to comment about this because it makes me sad.

The subtitles aren't appearing in the PiP pop out when the original video is Disney+, but they're working on Netflix, Amazon, and YouTube. Is there a way to fix this? I looked around in the settings and couldn't find anything.

Hi I had some tabs open in private browsing which have frozen. Each tab has history but won't let me go back or forward. I have tried closing the tabs and pressing undo as this sometimes works but it didn't help. I really don't want to lose the tab history as it is in private browsing so won't be saved in history. Does anyone know a way to restore the tabs?
