Bing has hijacked Firefox. None of the solutions on the web remove it. What to do?

Apparently Microsoft has been keeping ahead of all the workarounds to remove its Bing virus that takes over the Firefox browser. None that I have tried get rid of it. My Firefox worked well for awhile, but after Bing hijacked it, that's all it can use. I hope that Mozilla will address this problem.
