This issue has been prevalent on multiple devices.

I ran a logcat on the whole process, from loading ff, to typing in a website, in this case I used www.cnn.com as the test address. Then I stopped the logcat after FF hung for more than a minute with nothing happening.

I've tried the usual clearing of this and that, reinstalling, other devices, etc etc.. A couple of things you should know, my KNOX (0 x 1) is tripped and my device is rooted, I'm not sure if this has any effect, I don't see how it could myself...

I'm hoping it's just a matter of changing an about:config setting or something.
