Since last update...the reaction emojis on Facebook are blacked out. The entire bar of emojis are not visible. It is all black. Yet the words are visible when hovered over. There seems to be nothing wrong with the FB site and it has been suggested it could be the browser. So if you have any reports of glitches like this ...would be nice if you could fix. Screenshot Impossible to take. Thanks

I am attempting to copy a FF profile from a Windows 11 machine I created it and am using it on to a brand new windows 11 machine on which I have also just installed FF on. Both machines are at FF 150.0.3. I have done a search online for the methods to do this but they have both failed for me.

The first one I tried was simply copying the profile from the existing (source) machine to the profile folder in the new machine however FF never recognized the copied profile on the new machine (I am using profile manager on both machines).

I then tried copying the profile using the method we used to use a while back to copy profiles which is to let profile manager create a new profile in the new machine, open FF so that it creates that new profile in the profiles folder then delete the contents of that profile leaving it as an empty profile (with the name of the newly created FF profile). Then, I selected and copied the *entire contents* of the source profile I was trying to copy and pasted them into the newly created profile I had just zero'ed out on the new machine so that the new profile now had the exact same contents as the source profile. I knew this copy was successful because it took a while to copy all of the data from the source profile to the new profile and the indicator showed it copying.

Again, FF did not recognize the new profile when I opened FF with the name of the new profile in the prof mgr.t.

Could someone tell me what I am doing wrong or what the problem may be? One problem I had when I first copied the source profile to my 32GB USB drive was a message saying "inbox folder is too big for destination system. " The source profile is 12.72 GB so there is plenty of room on the USB drive for it to fit. I have no idea why FF would have an inbox file so I just skipped it. The rest of the profile copied to completion once I did that but its size after copying was now only 7.65 GB, about 5 GB less than the original. Could this be my problem and if so, how do I fix it? Since dawn of times I'm using Firefox with a search box in the center of my Home page for new tabs and windows. It is the most important tool in my life as a web content manager. A few years ago my searches suddenly started to jump to the URL bar as soon as I started typing. An URL bar is - as the says - for URL's and it sits way at the top of my 27" and 32" screens, where my focus is not.

Luckily, this forum saved me with the about:config setting browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.improvesearch.handoffToAwesomebar > false to save my life.

A few months ago this was broken by 148.something. After about a month in hell that was repaired with a dot release. And now (151.0.3, Windows 11) it's broken again:

In normal mode it still works as expected, but the search box is not in the center anymore, it has been moved up to about 300 px from the top. Fixed, independent from window size !?! If you make the window small it moves out sight eventually.

In Private Windows it is still in the center vertically, but browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.improvesearch.handoffToAwesomebar > false does not seem to work there. As soon as I start typing it jumps to the address bar.

I had this trouble after Firefox's previous update, where the browser would just close as I was in a tab. It had stopped so I thought the problem was fixed. However, it just updated the browser a few days ago and again I'm having a problem where the browser will just close in the middle of me entering information. It does not have to do with which program I am in as it just seems to happen randomly. It does not save any information I've typed in.

I have an app showing on my desktop. It does nothing. I would like to be able to use my previous desktop for using firefox. If that is not possible. I would simply like to use.

I continually get error messages for webpages. I turn off my VPN, clear my history. Not sure what else I need to do. Last one was the webpage for Lindt Chocolate. Come on. Why am I getting error messages for this? I have been on this page before. There are other places also, like Macys. Getting fed up with Firefox.

Been using Firefox for over a decade. But lately is has become so slow now. Often freezes up if more than two tabs are open or a website is in any way very complex. What settings and issues should I check? What has changed? I can run the same sites on Brave and Edge browsers with no issues or not nearly as slow and bogged down.

I am confused. I'm an older guy. I don't use VPN. I have noticed that while I live near Kalispell, Montana (NorthEast MT). FireFox thinks that sometimes my PC is in the Seattle, WA area or the Phoenix, AZ area. I am tired of getting local ads for tires, hair salons, etc. in these states. How do I get FireFox to realize I am not in these states and to relocate me back to Montana?

I was able to enter an ip address that is on my local network into the search bar until a recent firefox update. Now when I type in the ip address, it goes to google with my address in the search bar. Is there a way that I can still access my server over a firefox?

I am facing an issue with my website https://ppscjobz.pk.

The website opens normally in Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and on mobile devices, but some users have reported that it either loads very slowly or does not open correctly in Mozilla Firefox.

I have already checked:

SSL certificate Website hosting DNS settings Cache and cookies Mobile responsiveness

However, the issue still seems to occur for some Firefox users.

I'm too old and tired to try to find my way around the new update. How can I return to the previous version? Life was so simple. Now I spend more time trying to find things that I can't find than I do online doing something productive.

Please tell me there's a simple way to get back to the previous version and that I won't lose my bookmarks and links.
