SSIA for the most part. I am running firefox 124.0.1 on my macbook air and, only from certain senders, does the formatting look different from others - the font is different, and I can't highlight or click links. Almost seems like a picture instead of text - I can even click in the general area and it'll copy/paste it in Word like a picture.

Any suggestions?

I have encountered a recurring issue specifically with Firefox where SVG images fail to display unless a pixel-defined height attribute is explicitly set. This behavior contrasts with other browsers, which handle SVG scaling seamlessly, typically adapting to the specified width or inheriting dimensions from parent elements.

During our website development, primarily through Elementor and leveraging Flexbox in a WordPress environment, this discrepancy becomes evident. The issue persists exclusively in Firefox, confirmed through extensive testing across various browsers and OS's with multiple SVG files and sites.

For diagnostic purposes, I recommend conducting controlled tests with SVG images embedded with our current setup. Set the SVGs to 100% width without defining their height and observe how they render in Firefox compared to other browsers. This should help ascertain whether the behavior in Firefox is anomalous.

I am assuming it may be with the way the markup of the SVG is rendered as it doesn't happen with all SVGs, however, other browsers appear to fix or override whatever is getting in the way from rendering...it is a strange issue.

I have included two images as an example. As you can see in the first image, the SVG isn't rendering (in Firefox) , but does render in Chrome/Safari. It only works when I define a height in px value on Firefox.

Please let me know if further information is required or if any specific steps need to be undertaken to address this issue.

Firefox Developer Edition 126.0b7 (64-bit) shows a perpetual "Loading" screen when trying to access my internal Logitec Media Server at 127.0.0.1:9001.

Other browsers like Waterfox Classic have no trouble, so LMS is working fine.

I tried cleaning the cookies, disabling the firewall (Windows 10), that did not help/

Any idea how to solve this?

This started recently, after I installed the latest upgrade of Firefox and the video downloader. Not happening on Safari or DuckDuckGo. I suspect they have spotted I am using Firefox and are lying about the connection problem. Any suggestions welcome. thanks!

Hi! Relaying this for another Firefox user. Whenever they go to Google Images, it seems like the images don't fully load. GIFs don't play, and it ends up showing the preview rather than the full image. This isn't happening on other sites like Bing. Any ideas what could be causing this? A uninstall and reinstall didn't help.

When typing comments on YouTube videos, pressing the spacebar, does not work. In order to achieve space, I need to hold the "Shift" key while pressing the spacebar.

When typing the comment, if I only hit the spacebar, a blue line surrounds the area where the text is being typed. See attached screenshot.

This problem is a combo of the site and the browser. The problem is that the body text is all jammed to the right side of the screen. I have tried clearing the Firefox cache, and sometimes that works, I have tried restarting in troubleshooting mode, but that does not change anything. Internet Explorer shows the same problem, but the Edge browser does not display the problem. I suspect the site is doing something funky that results in a problem on some pages for some browsers. That's really hard to troubleshoot!

One part of the article I read says the connection issue is due to HTTP, another part of the Article says it is Googles fault due to their HSTS security policy. I have to say Poppycock. I can successfully login to my Gmail on my tablet I just cannot connect to it with my laptop. Firefox itself is refusing to allow the connection. Unfortunately it happens more often than you'd expect. I am in no way or by any means capable of computer repair, but I seem to enjoy tormenting myself with constantly taking apart and rebuildingthis laptop, Took me almost 3 months to finally find out how to stop Firefox address URL bar from highjacking the search bar with that really annoying awesomebar in about:config. But something just seems wrong with the browser on the laptop not being able to connect, but there is no issue with the tablet.

I've been using Firefox for a week now and every time I work on my clients WordPress websites they show this message after a few hours of working on them:

"Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to 4everyoung.com.br. PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR

   The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
   Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem."

When this message appears I need to restart my computer for the website to load again, when I use the websites on Chrome they don't show this error but if this error appears on Firefox, the website also stops loading on Chrome until I restart my computer. I've realized that activating and deactivating plugins will make this error appear but sometimes I'm just working on the website normally. This doesn't happen on any other websites, only my clients websites that I manage. All of them use WordPress but some are hosted by Hostgator and others are hosted by Hostinger. I've followed the steps of every forum post out there about this issue, contacted my hosting providers and they have no idea as to what may be causing this issue.

After the last Firefox update, i am trying to open youtube.com in my Firefox browser but it's not letting me to do it. Every time i open it shows an error and says that the error is from YOUTUBE and FIREFOX or I can do nothing about it. But the funny part is its working on other browsers like chrome.

I have a subscription to ancestry.com. However, I've noticed several Firefox updates ago that I can no longer write a story and add it to an ancestor's media gallery. When I do, I keep getting this:

What happened? This request was blocked by security rules.

WHAT IS this? And how can I resolve it? I have completely deleted my browser history, cookies, cache, everything and it doesn't make a difference. I'm still getting this message but ONLY in Firefox. Not in other browsers. I use Firefox to do most of my genealogical research, but this may have to change if I can't get it to work with ancestry.com. I've also alerted them to the problem, but so far they haven't come up with a solution, other than to delete cookies/cache/history, which I have done. It can't be my computer or it would do it on all three browsers I have installed - Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox. But it doesn't. Only in Firefox. I am running Windows 11 Build 25151 on a Lenovo X1 Carbon Gen 7. With the last several Builds when selecting an option from a pop-up the FireFox window just stops for up to several minutes, no error message. In other cases cannot select an option necessary continue. In several cases the continue button at the bottom of the popup is not available. I am running FireFox 102.0.1 (64 bit). In most cases, copy address from FF to Microsoft Edge, edge is able to continue.

Not sure if a FireFox or Windows problem.

I am an employer and use Indeed website to hire staff. I can log into my Indeed web account and can access all webpages except the Jobs webpage, the most fundamental part of this exercise.

I contacted Indeed and phone rep said to use Google Chrome which worked easily.

I am a dedicated Firefox user and do not want to use Google Chrome. Please fix this access problem which forces an employer to use Chrome to hire his workers.
