Hi - I just reset my PC and trying to restore Firefox. I saved the default release folder (qejikze4.default-release-1669319412153) which contains the latest bookmarks in the "bookmarkbackups" folder. I tried to just replace the bookmark file in the new install (how I previously transfered them), but I can't find the files in the latest V.120 version. Any suggestions on how I can do it?

Hello wonderful Mozilla Firefox,

Could you please educate me on how I may change the default view of my bookmarks. I feel like it did not used to default to the "other bookmarks" in the "Manage Bookmarks" library window (ctrl+shift+o). I find it a bit annoying that it defaults all the way to the very last folder in my whole library. How to fix this? I tried to delete this folder but that is not possible. I do not need to delete, I just want for my view to default to either the very top, or possibly to remember its last accessed folder/location. Is this possible?

they disappeared one day and have not returned. Finally uninstalled fir fox and nothing came back the new homepage and bookmark arrangement is inadequate. How do I get the old one back?

What has happened to all of my Task Bar / Tool Bar? As of today, Sunday Nov. 26th, everything is gone. In addition the browser itself looks "different" some how.

I opened my bookmarks today to find out that all my bookmarks are showing the same web address (Chevrolet.com). And when I went to Recovery, I only found the backup that Firefox did today with the single web address for all my bookmarks. Firefox was updated to version 120 on 11/21/2023.

When I select "bookmark this tab", in the Firefox browser, I used to get the window allowing you to choose where to put the new bookmark. This 'bookmark location' window no longer appears so you don't know where the bookmark has gone. Prior to now, this feature has always worked fine.

I quit Firebox and reopened it but the problem remains.

I'm using Firefox 119.0.1 (64 bit) (the most current vers.) on a Macbook Pro running Ventura 13.3. I switched from Chrome to Firefox on this new Mac.

My laptop died. I purchased a new one and pulled the SSD drive from the dead laptop and hooked it up to the new laptop with a SATA to USB cable and have access to the drive now. How do I pull all the information that was in Firefox (bookmarks, open tabs when laptop died, etc.) from the old drive to the new laptop?

My computer died. I was using windows 10. On my new computer (windows 11) my old bookmarks are not on the mozilla browser where they used to be. Can I get them back?

Hi, I have a lot of bookmarks that are specifically made to always open in a specific container.

After updating to 121 I'm always asked if I want to open the URL in a container.

How can I get rid of the question and just always assume "Yes"?

Hi, I'm in a little bit of a chock... Firefox updated and recommended me to use a new profile. Sadly I chose that option and now I've lost all my previous settings. Panic! Is there ANY way I could get my saved passwords and favorites back from the previous install?!

What happened to "recent bookmarks"??? I is no longer available....why???? I need it back, as I used it all the time and my bookmarks were very easy to locate. Now I have no idea where a bookmark is, that was even bookmarked an hour ago.

After synching from my Mac to my iPhone, the bookmarks on my iPhone are bare. There aren't nearly as many as there are on my Mac. But, in looking at Firefox on my iPhone, I honestly don't see where synch is even turned on there.

I have used Firefox with sync since sync were released. Today (25th dec), all of a sudden hundreds of saved passwords are gone, just 9 out of at least 200.

I have changed the password for my account and logged in. Tried to logout and login again but just 9 passwords is found, extremely frustrating!

Anyone got a clue what has happened?
