How to BLOCK systemtimezone detection in Firefox? Can this be done with firefox or with the operatingsystem itself? After all i know for a fact that the bromite android browser has this feature and it works. I noticed that disabling javascript blocks systemtimedetection, but it also basically renders the browsers useless for my purposes.. are there specific javascript config settings regarding systemtimezone detection? I really feel that when a website spys on my systemtimezone this is a breach of privacy as this goes beyond the browsers im using to view the website but instead directly access information about my system, im not ok with that... Using a virtualmachine just to fake systemtimezone cannot be the solution, this is ridiculous.

By the way, i hope Mozilla won't let down support for Manivest v2 ever, there is a chance firefox will gain a boost in users after google pushing Manivest v3 that hard... making adblock useless, what a shame.

Firefox has just started crashing on startup every time I try to open it out of the blue with no changes to anything in the browser. I've tried opening in troubleshooting mode, still crashes instantly. I've refreshed, revo uninstalled and cleaned everything firefox related off my system and reinstalled but still have the exact same issue with a fresh install.

I managed to get the crash log from the backed up folders when it reinstalled. Any suggestions?

I've been encountering a persistent error with Firefox, and I'm hoping someone here might have a solution. Whenever I try to open Firefox, I keep getting an error message that says "Secure Connection Failed" for certain websites. It's really frustrating because it's preventing me from accessing important sites. I've tried clearing my cache and cookies, but the issue persists. Has anyone else experienced this problem, and if so, how did you resolve it?

At random times when i use firefox, my laptop just freezes and i cant interact with anything - i can't close firefox i can't open any other app and more...

I tried searching on google and found to turn off graphic acceleration but it didn't help.

recently i've bought a new microsoft surface studio laptop and i noticed that when i am watching something on youtube, netflix or any other platform the video (sound is ok) is freezing after 9-10 sec of watching. I checked my componetns, temperatures, but then i tried another browser - google chrome. It worked smoothly. I use firefox since 2013 and i love it, but now I am considering switching to a different browser, because something is wrong here and it's not a hardware problem but rather a software issue, which is obviously firefox here... I am open for any advices on how to fix this freezing problem and just to be clear: i really don't want to change my browser... i like it :(

Have always used Firefox, starting crashing this past month, cleaned buffer,, rebooted and now I cannot open or run Firefox. I had to open Google Chrome just to get here, and I hate Google. Running Windows 10 PRO on desktop. Senior citizen not a computer professional, consider me a kindergarten with a manual Corvette. Please help.

When trying to print in Firefox all I get in the print preview window is a spinning wheel. It is only doing this with Firefox. Printing works fine with Edge and Google Chrome. It just started doing this a couple of days ago. Restarting has no effect. Any ideas?

You can see the context menu in the photo, I would want to hide the pin tabs button so I could stop clicking it on accident. Pinned aren't a feature I use nor find useful anyway.

I am having issues with our Storyline published e-learning courses. I always test in Chrome and Firefox. We just had a Q3 release on October 3, so my testing was prior to October 3. All course completion reporting worked as it should in both Chrome and Firefox.

I have now started a new round of testing for a new course and my course completion reporting is reporting correctly in Chrome, but is not reporting correctly in Firefox. When I launch a course in Litmos in the Firefox browser and then exit the course before it is completed, the course is being marked as completed. When I launch the course again it does not pick up where it left off, the course starts over. I am wanting to convert back to an older version of Firefox to see if this resolves my issue, but I am not able to figure out how to do this.

Will you please tell me if this is a possibility or if there was something in the recent Firefox updates that would be causing this reporting issue within my course. I have tested my course in Chrome, no issues, I have tested my course in SCORM Cloud no issues, it is only happening in Firefox, which leads me to believe it is a Firefox issue.

Hello. For some time, under each entered expression in the sent post office there has been a red "wavy" underlining. The problem is to choose a language. In my case it is Polish. Unfortunately, in the Firefox browser, which I use, there is no option to change the language to Polish (Annex 1) as it is in the Google Chrome browser (Annex 2). Why? I would like to add that this phenomenon only occurs in the case of Onet in Firefox. How can this be removed? Regards Alex.

I am a Firefox user on both of my own computers, but also install it on all systems I support remotely. On one of those the user is a heavy FF user with multiple pinned tabs. This worked without issues for a very long time. However, since V 106 (I don't know it his is related) FF and/or individual tabs frequently crash (on start, or later), offers to restore session or tab, is successful, but then the whole sequence repeats. We have taken all troubleshooting steps, including disabling all extensions, and starting in safe mode, but to no avail.

The system in question runs WINDOWS10 (Home), 64 bit, V 22H2 (newest upgrade) and all patches applied.

Any help or suggestions would be hugely appreciated.

Please tell me how to fix this problem: ever since I allowed Firefox to upgrade, I cannot load pages for banks/credit card accounts. I can do it on my Apple phone and IPad. So I believe it is a Firefox problem. I prefer using my desk top computer to pay bills. Please help me sort this out. I will change browsers if you can't help me. I'm not being snarky, just very upset that your upgrade did this to me. I am a 81 years young senior female, so please don't get to techy with the answer, keep it simple for this old brain. Occasionally when downloading files on Firefox, they'll freeze completely (often at the very end.) There is no way to pause or cancel the downloads, except to restart Firefox.

When I attempt to restart Firefox, it closes the browser window. However, when I try to reopen it, I get an error message stating that Firefox is running but not responding. The 'Close Firefox' option does nothing, except make the box pop back up a moment later.

I can't kill the Firefox process in Task Manager or Process Explorer, because it says access is denied. I can't kill it using taskkill in command prompt because it says there is no running instance of the task.

The ONLY thing that seems to help is completely restarting the computer, which is getting frustrating to do several times a day.

since the last redevelopment of Mozilla Firefox I am having trouble exiting both my private and non private browser. I want to uninstall Firefox and re install it to see if that gets rid of the gremlins.
