I'm using Firefox 120.0 on an iMac running OS 13.6.1. When browsing in an open window, merely moving my iMouse (no clicking) causes the display to zoom in and enlarge the display a huge amount that is much larger than normal zooming can produce. Please provide a solution.

I have a problem retrieving my favorites/bookmarks. I changed computers (all of them, even the hard drives).

I would like to recover my favorites/bookmarks but cannot do so because I am asked to look for them in folders that I no longer have, because they are on the old computer.

Does Firefox not save any information about my favorites/bookmarks? Have I lost them all? Do I have to redo my whole life?

I have used Firfox for many years as my main browser...I just upgraded to Sonoma on two Macs and Firefox is nu-useable on both... I waited for the new update and somethings were working but still can not depend on the browser to work... Can you help...?

When I have to change a setting on my LAN printer, an HP, I should be able to access its built-in settings module. Firefox will not let me access the printer because it doesn't have a trusted certificate.

So I get a blank page with the message: "we could not verify the certificate: reason = untrusted" and doesn't give me any options. In versions past, I recall an option to connect anyway if I trusted the site.

If there is a setting that lets me enable the option to continue anyway, where is it? Alternately, is there an exception list, perhaps by IP address, that will allow the browser to connect? Perhaps another solution?

I can't be the only one who is encountering this issue.

Firefox has been crashing multiple times per day for several weeks now. It used to be fine, hardly ever crashing. I can't think of anything I'm doing differently since before the crashes started. I can only assume that it started after a specific Firefox update. I do have a lot of windows/tabs open at once, but that was never an issue in the past. Occasionally individual pages will crash, usually several at once. The entire software crashes all at once regularly as well. Sometimes the crash seems to cause other issues, such as my computer hanging up for a bit, or my monitors going blank and the graphics system seeming to reset, before Firefox actually crashes. I don't always get a crash report dialogue when the whole thing crashes.

I keep my Windows and Firefox up to date. I tried turning off hardware acceleration, but I think that might have made it worse so I turned it back on. I cleared the caches (which took well over five minutes), and ran speedyfox a few times. I exit Firefox through File > Exit whenever I need to restart or run other heavy software.

Whenever I navigate in a video or go fullscreen on YouTube there's a painfully loud crackle, I use the site frequently so I'd appreciate a fix because it's very painful for my ears.

Please let me know what is wrong here I have recorded the issue as you can see that the buttons of pop up for screen record are missing text also location pop up is missing text same with download file names.

I don't know what is the issue and why the texts are not showing but it's been a big hassle.

Please help me solve it. I barely managed to record thing since even it doesn't show which screen I want to record.

I have this one page which has "meta refresh" set to 2 minutes, and the page displays my own data from some sensors so it has to be that way.

Anyway, the tab is making the clicking sound whenever it reloads the page. Muting the tab doesn't help.

Is there a way to disable the "click" when the tab reloads in the background?

Hello all, I have three devices, two laptops, and android phone. I have all three synced and running that way no problem other than one thing I have had an open question for since oct 2nd about mass opening synced tabs into active tabs...

Question here is, is there an active sync? like, I want it when I open a new tab on my android, it automatically opens same tab on both laptops, or i open something on a laptop, and the other laptop and android open it as well. same for closing and all that

Im not looking for it to auto complete forms or anything like that, just keep the same tabs opened across all devices

Yo, Linux sysadmin here and been using Firefox forever.  Surprisingly I have this ancient 12 year old System76 laptop that I use for nearly everything (got a newer Lenovo that I been meaning to switch to but no time).

Using Debian 12/13 with Gnome 43.6/X11.  Can't quite figure out this issue though.  Besides being a sysadmin, can have other side jobs/projects going on as well, so can have 5-10 windows open in different workspaces, sometimes with hundreds of tabs all together (big fan of the Auto Tab Discard add-on and about:memory Minimize Memory Usage to keep performance up and resource usage low).

Been noticing this issue for the last few versions where suddenly, after random amount of Firefox uptime (can be after days of perfect performance) my keyboard input aka typing gets extremely laggy, like 30 seconds behind for all keystrokes, except: Ctrl-F instantly brings up the Find in Page bar, and Ctrl-C instantly copies to clipboard.  Ctrl-V, however, 30 seconds lag, Ctrl-A also....  Mouse is fine though and can right-click and paste instantly or use other menu options.  Happens anywhere in Firefox too: in address bar, in the find text box, in the preferences, in my saved passwords, haven't found a place with no lag.

Have searched around for some hours now and only found suggestions to disable accessibility service, but accessibility service has already been disabled for a while now.  Everything else in my Gnome desktop session is running fine.  Restarting Firefox temporarily solves the issue but is highly annoying and interruptive with as much as I have going on sometimes.  Due to timing randomness, starting Firefox without certain add-ons is impossible as I can't spend days at a time without any of them.  Just have to open a text editor and type what I need to in there, then paste with mouse, until I can find a good stopping place to restart Firefox.

Have included most of the info from about:support in the Troubleshooting Information.  Spent quite a bit of time looking at all my modified preferences, nothing popped out but if there's something you think I could include to help, let me know. Thanks

So, I had three windows open in private mode, then the (stupid) software decides to crash (or rather, restart automatically for an update) and I lose all those tabs from those windows (ALTHOUGH NOT MY CHOICE, OR FAULT) then several search results say install PrivateBrowsingHistoryRecovery add on, however the links go nowhere. Surely Mos FuryInducingF_x don't prevent the installation of an add on that might actually make their software better, useful?

I want to add the Bookmarks to my Browser page. The schematic says I need to press the Toolbar button, but on my latest version of Firefox there is no Toolbar button. Then I have another problem with your instructions. I had to Download something called Filelink. It directed me the Preference section on my menu under More Tools. Accept there is no such thing on my version of Firefox. I have to send a video of about 54 seconds to someone via Thunderbird email, so need to know how I'm going to do it.
