I am using Firefox on a new PC. Whenever I type something into the address bar, all results appear under a small Firefox Suggest header, even though Firefox Suggest is not available to me in the United Kingdom. I believe it is possible to remove this header through about:config, and I did so on my old PC shortly after FIrefox Suggest was released in 2021, although I have long forgotten how to do this for obvious reasons. Could somebody please explain how this header can once again be removed, or is it a permanent feature? Thank you in advance.

Am getting the 403 error message when trying to log on to a news site which was previously accessible. I can access the site from another browser but not via Firefox. What could be the problem and how do I fix it? Thanks

I am on Linux, with font defaults on 15px. I have also set the minimum font size in firefox to 15, yet all content of webpages and even the settings menu (which I've noticed ignores the font size settings entirely) is minuscule by comparison - I found the font sizes of the adress bar (respecting system font size of 15) matching webpages scaled to 140% or minimum fonts set to 22.

Changing the `layout.css.devPixelsPerPx` scales the adress bar too, aside of just scaling all elements, not text.

Suddenly, yesterday when I opened my Microsft Outlook app, all is see is HUGE letters filing my entire desktop computer screen. As you can see in photo below, there is no way I can rea email this way. Same today. When I try another browser (Edge) the Outlook screen opens just fine, so it looks like a problem with Firefox.

I don't want to have to use Edge as a browser - I like Firefox!

I don't know how to fix this in Firefox. I don't rememebr making any changes to the programme - but I do undertake regular updates.

Preferences in user.js are added permanently to prefs.js and persist even after user.js is deleted. What if you want to specify preferences in a file, just like with user.js, but you don't want them to be made permanent? In other words, so that when the file is deleted, the prefs will be forgotten. Is there any way to do this?

I turned my laptop on and went to Firefox to get my emails and browse but when the application started I realized all my bookmarks had disappeared. After a bit of digging it looks like Firefox has updated and in the process wiped all of my data because I don't have any history or back up points. I really need help as there is so much information I use on my bookmarks.

I asked a question earlier about being blocked from a site that I frequent while using Firefox but not when using Edge. I don't use Edge much but another difference has become apparent. Many of the sites like news sites an information sites seem to take longer to open than they used to on Firefox, I can see little icons going back and forth in the tab at top. Normally this lasts for ten seconds or so then the site I was after appears. I was on Edge and noted that this was not happening. I spent several minutes going back and forth and I definitely have an issue with Firefox. I have Windows 10 running on an old desktop. I use Express VPN I use BitDefender In Firefox I use Adblock Plus, Ghostery, I use Duck Duck search

Do I need a new version of Firefox or what? It says it is up to date 121.0.1 Have been using Firefox for years and not had any issues like these. Mark

Firefox crashed, Reinstalled it v121.0.1 Win Pro 10 (x64)

Although Extenions are reinstalled, I cannot find any way to get them into a toolbar now, (Using the Drag - Drop - Shift method)

There is supposed to be a "Gear alongside each extension" so that can be chosen, but no gear which works now.

Very frustrating as cannot properly access these extensions now.

Some time ago, I found the way to inser these Extensions (Addons) into the Toolbar, but cannot remember how I did it.

The Extensions show they are installed and "working" but it's rather useless nmot being able to get the shortcuts for each onto the Navigation Toolbar.

Hello, I am working on a web app where quite sizable around 45 mb webassembly module is used. The wasm file it self is cached by the browser but it is compiled to the device on every page refresh and it takes some time. I would like to cache this compiled module, but didn't find any information how this could be done except some 5 years old information about using indexed db and then information about removing that possibility.

How one could cache compiled web assembly module?

Since installing NordVPN I am unable to login. FireFox will not accept my password. However, it works on my android phone. I have installed the NordPass extension but the problem persists. How do I fix this issue. I want Bitwarden to manage my passwords.

I am having a hard time getting accustomed to the Firefox scrolling experience. I am only using the touch pad and the touch screen. When I release the finger the time it takes for the scroll speed to come to a halt is way longer than on Chromium browsers and uncomfortable. I want to configure this to decelerate faster or to remove the smoothing completely.

I have tried playing around with scroll configurations and I found that setting apz.gtk.kinetic_scroll.enabled =false disables smoothing correctly, but only works for touch pad, not for touch screen.

- Is there some config I am missing to disable this kinetic scroll using touch screen? - Is there a preference where I can halve the time it takes to decelerate, rather than disable it completely?

I am running Ubuntu 22.04 on Wayland if that makes a difference.

There is one site, where my IRA is located, ("mystreeetscape.com:") where I am never able to open my statements or retrieve tax documents. I get the message "Please wait while we retrieve your documents" but the circle just keeps going around forever. This has persisted for quite a while, and I would rather not download and use another browser if Firefox is able to work for this. I have not had this problem with any other bank accounts or financial places - eg: Fidelity is fine, etc.

From 8 years of using Firefox and updates, there is a perpetual, never-ending serious bug, occurs on all computers! If one has a lot of open tabs with a lot of RAM, the tabs are also automatically frozen then it is impossible to add bookmarks to all 4760 tabs. So never ever make a bookmark! It takes forever to work, nothing happens, even no extension can, nothing will help. This is some kind of stuck bug. Chrome, it ALWAYS, ALWAYS WORKS WITHOUT PROBLEM! I can add in 1 second in Chrome, but never, ever in Firefox for 8 years!

we have query regarding Firefox application .

when we tried to install both 32bit and 64 bit Firefox application in 64 bit , one of the 32bit or 64 bit is getting removed from the machine.

we need a solution where both 32 bit and 64bit needs to be installed in a single 64 bit machine .so if want upgrade only 32bit , 32 bit should be upgraded with the newer version and 64 bit remains same with the version and 64 bit shouldn't be removed from the machine And when we tried to upgrade 64bit ,64 bit should be upgraded with the newer version and 32 bit remains same with the version and 64 bit shouldn't be removed from the machine.

Recently, I've found I cannot successfully submit a superchat donation on Youtube while using Firefox. I was successful using Edge browser. Firefox asks to confirm the card number I'm using to chat, but then once acknowledged, the screen stays grey/white and doesn't ever clear to process the chat.

Hi, so here's the issue I have: Lets say you have 20 tabs open where the "tab scroller" becomes active and tab#17 has a video, if you enter & exit fullscreen on that tab then tabs #18-20 will slide to the right and go out of sight. This is quite annoying as I'd prefer all tabs on the right to be visible until I manually scroll to the left.

I tried googling for about:config or userChrome.css solutions but couldn't find anything, does anyone have any ideas on how to change this? Thanks.
