Firefox on my mac has recently started displaying strange text in any windows where the browser itself chooses the font. I verified that the font settings are default, and the issue persists. Screenshots attached, any ideas?

Only my mac has this issue, my iPhone, as well as two Windows PCs all on the same account do not present with this.

I recently deleted pwnedpasswords.com from my cookies, as well as blocked this website; however, it keeps reappearing in my list of cookies.

I've never even visited this site (that I'm aware of), and it's a bit concerning to me.

In spite of clearing ALL my cookies (and blocking this website), it keeps appearing in my list!

Please advise :)

For some reason all of a sudden my bookmarks don't show their identification icons that are associated with that web site. Those icons are to the immediate left of the site address. I used to use those colored icons as a quick reference to select the web site I wanted. Being I have MANY bookmarks, those icons to the left were a GREAT help to locating a specific bookmark.

   I could locate a bookmark by the web site icon that is shown to the left of the site address. Now that icon just shows a non colored ball with globe in it.
  Is there a way to show a earlier date of my bookmarks? Maybe that way I could see the old bookmark menu the way it used to be shown when I accessed my bookmark menu? 
   Can someone please help. Thank you.

macOS (and I assume Windows and Linux as well) supports local URL schemas. For instance, Apple supports the "applefeedback://" URL as a way to launch the macOS Feedback Assistance app.

If I have a link to this on a web page, or if I put it in a bookmark, Firefox will ask for confirmation and will then launch Feedback Assistant. This part works great.

But if I type that URL into the location bar, Firefox always sends it to my configured search engine. It doesn't recongize it as a valid URL. And in the popup list of suggestions, there is no option to just go there and not search for it. See the attached screen shot.

I don't want to disable location-bar searching altogether, because it is really useful, but I think there should be a way, on a case-by-case basis, to tell Firefox that I really want it to treat the entire text as a URL. The simplest approach is probably to have an extra row on the popup suggestion list that I can click on to open the text as a URL or produce an error if there is nothing in Firefox or the OS that can resolve it.

Hopefully this won't be too difficult to support. I think it would be extremely useful.

Hey there, long story short - nowadays it's crucial to support those who WFH, and most people use G Suit for company work. I personally have a few daily calls via Google Meet and having the TAB sharing feature available is highly appreciated. I know this was requested a lot, but this is a real dealbreaker for many people.

What are your thoughts on this? Maybe it's somewhere in the roadmap already? Thanks!

This is a silly one, probably.

My refresh button has mysteriously disappeared from my browser toolbar. I can just use cmd+shift+r to refresh, but muscle memory keeps looking for the button on screen too, and it would be nice to have it back!

I opened up the customize options, thinking maybe I just removed it by accident, but refresh doesn't appear to be an option?

I also opened it up in troubleshoot mode to see if that would change anything. It did not :(

I also don't have any extensions that mess with the toolbar, so I don't think that would be an issue (and troubleshoot mode should have disabled extensions anyway I think.)

I recently updated to 126.0.1 - no idea if that has anything to do with it, but this did happen right after the update.

There are a couple more people on here with the same question, and they all had easy solutions. I'm hoping I'm just not seeing a setting somewhere.

Whenever I type youtube.com into the search bar and hit enter, it says it crashed and i can't get in. Here are all my crash id's by the way

When I log in as admin to my wordpress website, firefox gets stuck in an endless reload loop.

Sometimes if I clear the browser history or open a private window, I can successfully log in and load a page - once. The page seems to load normally but there are 409 errors shown for many of the files in the developer tools.

If I reload the page again, it goes back to the endless loop.

This started when I installed a wordpress caching plugin, but the problem is specific to firefox, so I don't really know whether firefox or the plugin is actually responsible.

How could firefox be getting 409 errors when other browsers get normal 200 responses for the same resources?

Why is firefox triggering this reload loop, and is there a way I can stop it?

I have two Mac systems, a 2018 Intel Mac Mini, and an M1 2020 MacBook Pro, both running Sonoma 14.7.6. On the Mac Mini, Firefox opens to the familar "Recommended Stories". On the MacBook Pro Firefox opens to a long list of items I'm not the least bit interested in. How do I get the MacBook Pro back to nothing but the "Recommended Stories"? I don't want/need NHL, NFL, NBA,Television, MLB, Pro Soccer, Education, Food, Health, Parenting, etc., etc., etc.

When attempting to load a number of different web pages such as Quickbooks Online Apps, the page displays "Loading Apps..." with a spinning wheel, but never redirects to the Apps page; the site hangs forever. On other browsers there are no issues; it eventually switches to the correct page. In Firefox Browser I have tried adding exceptions in Settings --> Privacy & Security --> Manage Exceptions. No change. Thoughts?

PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY - Thru Firefox, I use Tineye to find related photos - I use it all the time, it's been great - I always use a VPN and have never had problems until now (as of yesterday). Now it won't search, a verify you're human window comes up, and I have to keep clicking squares, which I do - but then it says to allow cookies and start over. Well I don't want to allow cookies (Firefox-Mozilla kinda encourages using their tools to block cookies, which I much prefer), and I CANT FIND WHERE TO ALLOW (not yelling its just that I said this before and it wasn't noticed) cookies even if I did (I went to Firefox preferences all I could find was under privacy & security cross-site cookies but that did nothing) and I don't want to disable my VPN. Maybe I should mention that I just added or started a Mozilla account, as I have had immense trouble with my aol emails, and am trying to move everything over to a gmail account. My sign in to Firefox was the aol email, and I had to try (I thought I did it) add another account, which I think I did successfully. So it was right after that, that all this started. Help please! I did get the following reply, saying to allow cookies (BUT I DON"T KNOW HOW OR WHERE TO DO IT) and something about a new browser profile and to stay out of my sync account, and I APOLOGIZE, but I have no clue what all that means. What is a broweser profile, what is a sync account and how do I stay out of it? I guess well I know i'm not too smart about this kinda stuff, so I apologize but I think I need detailed step by step what to do to fix this. I know thats a lot of typing, sorry.
