Few days after installing a strange border started appearing around the app unless I'm in full screen which I don't like to use. What's happening and how can I stop this?

Crashes freeze ups Tired of them all day every day. Cache fills up and computer shuts down. 24 Firefox processes ,,, 37 Firefox processes and every one of them is storing history and cookies till the system stops.. Performance section? Worthless. Does not matter what is checked or unchecked,, and NEVER has there appeared a box to choose a limit of 6 or 8 processes.. WTF

hello, I wrote to you telling you that when i facetime on facebook i cannot see or hear anyone and you answered me to try this or that. you said to go into permissions and make sure that my camera and microphone had facebook to have permission and when i facetime to go into permissions there and click off the use default button and click allow or always ask. i have already done this and still have the problem. well I know what is happening and it is your fault firefox. when my sister, who is sitting next to me rings me on facetime (and was helping try to fix this problem) and it still didn't work, while she just kept the facetime open, she watched me go into the permission box again on the padlock page, the settings i put ALLOW were gone and the use default box was ticked again. so this time i put always ask. and came back out of the permissions page and then went straight back in, and guess what.....every time i leave the permissions page, it goes back to use default. MY SETTINGS ARE NOT BEING SAVED. THERE IS NO SAVE BUTTON BECAUSE YOU REMOVED IT. I MAKE A SETTING, COME OUT OF THE PAGE AND IT IMMEDIATELY REMOVES MY SETTINGS. YOU NEED TO FIX THIS BECAUSE NOTHING IS WORKING BECAUSE IT CONTINOUSLY GOES BACK TO DEFAULT. IF YOU DO NOT FIX THIS ASAP I AM SHUTTING YOU DOWN AND GOING TO BING AS MY BROWSER

Webroot keeps popping up and I would like to disable it because I don't need it now. I am using Total AV and I don't want anything to interfere with that. Please let me know. Dennis [email removed from public]

Windows Edge has taken over as my browser. How do I get firefox to be my browser by default? I have tried many times but the box to delete windows edge is greyed out. Please help

If clearing history & deleting everything, wouldn't i lose items i want to keep ? I usually go through, deleting one item at a time, so as not to lose everything. This can take awhile ! What am I doing wrong ? I really like Firefox, by the way. I feel 'safe' using it, like the features, just everything about it !

I have changed my default browser from Chrome to Firefox because of the "v3 chains".

I can´t get rid of the 4-5 px Border around my windows Browser frame. It reflects somehow parts of the onscreen-content... in the images you can see the YT-video that I was watching. It is pretty anoying... I tried some changes but nothing seems to work. I use the dark-theme in Windows-designs and dark theme in FF-Themes..

Yeah, it is one of these very little things that makes me wanna cut my screen with a chainsaw on the edges. Does anyone have a fix 4 that, plz?

When using the the web browser, I used to be able to click on a link such as a vcard and it would automatically open outlook. Now it wants to save it to my disc. what is the setting for this. the same goes for a link that would open excel automatically but again it wants to save it first.

I recently installed firefox on a new computer and it will not access the internet. Any access request gets the message "Hmmm. We're having trouble finding that site." We cannot connect to the server.... It says to check that fiefox has permission to access the web, but I do not know how to do that. How can I get Firefox to access the web? I do not want to have to use different browser, but will switch unless this is resolved.

I really like & trust Firefox ! Would like to know about all the privacy settings I should have & probably don't ! Doubt I have updated much as I should have recently. Would appreciate any assistance. Thanks, Firefox !

After update to 115.2.1, FF crashes at startup for one User, but not the other. FF Safe Mode also crashes (SHIFT key). I tried running the 115.2.1 install on the problem User, but it also crashes right after completion. The second user is handicapped, so I have yet to try to uninstall/reinstall because FF runs on her User and I hate to screw things up so that she is locked out.

• • • JUST NOTED - Chrome also crashes with same NTDLL error (same DLL version number). Did the FF update do something with the NTDLL file?

Created - Boomer With A View September 19, 2013 there are 2 Facebook accounts one is my original account the other is fraudulent and I can't recover my account or my blog account Boomer With A View. I just don't know where to go for help. No one ever helps me to get my account , friends, groups, messengers back. Please help me or tell me where to go to get help. Terry, thanks for writing me but I even have problems when I only use a couple tabs and I rarely use Facebook or Reddit. Yet even with limited use of Firefox it inevitably expands and expands using up more and more memory until I have to exit Firefox. Is there anything I can do to limit Firefox?

Have a problem to use Mozilla / Firefox as my main browser for all email and web browsing or all activities. Tried to go into "setting" to "recall the browser" but unsuccessful

Win8 OS is not working properly: power off function will not work,have to unplug to turn off; unable to access OS section that allows to access devices,files,etc. and problems adding up.
