Recently I have found that I cannot download statements from my bank account, also at the same time (2/3 months ago) I cannot access a Tesco website from Firefox. I can carry out these functions easily from Microsoft Edge, so why the sudden change ? Can anyone please help me to fix this in Firefox?

About a week ago I started getting these update error messages stating "Update available - Firefox couldn't update automatically. Download the new version". I've also tried clicking "Learn more" on the error message but it's a dead link. Going into the settings for updates I am set to auto update, but when I manually check for updates it says "Failed to check for updates".

The help article on this issue simply tells you to download and manually reinstall Firefox, but I'm having to do this nearly every day. I work in IT myself so I know a "bandaid" workaround when I see one. Is there a solution to this issue?

I have been getting the "new version available, download now nag for over 2 weeks, and I have the latest version. Still get this issue repeatedly every day. Starting to become an every hour nag to update and install latest version of Firefox. Refuse to use Microsoft Edge or Chrome, and will switch off Firefox too if not rectified.

I have Windows 11 and Firefox 124.0.2. Firefox keeps asking to reinstall. I think it is because I keep getting the message that it fails to check for updates. I don't know if I have installed the Microsoft Firefox or the direct Mozilla Firefox downloaded. Maybe that is the problem, but I am not tech savvy. I have used Firefox for many years and like it. I am also too old (83) to deal with these problems. Help!

Since the latest Firefox update a few days ago, I am not able to log into my Outlook/Webmail account; nothing happens.

I can access it on google chrome but not on Firefox.

I downloaded Firefox for my new Mac. I see a Firefox symbol on my desktop. Clicked and moved the thing to my applications.

All of the files I try to download fail immediately. Even extensions will not download on firefox. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and checked the download location. Downloads work on other browsers such as Chrome fine but nothing will download on Firefox.

Only with Firefox (default) and Norton 360 My Norton page, the page does not recognize that the Password Manager is already set up and active. The Password Manager button erroneously shows "Set Up", and when pressed the surrounding oval turns blue and nothing else happens - forever! That button should say "Access Vault". Also, he Feature Setup incorrectly shows Password Manager as not being setup when it already is on, active, and functioning in other areas of Norton 360, and surprisingly through the Firefox browser extension NPM button. This apparent MY Norton syncing problem only happens with Firefox, not when using Edge or Chrome.

Firefox browser no longer on W7 laptop. Followed instructions-downloaded setup and installer. Neither will do anything - message says no program association to implement thses files. Help!

Hello, I need help. I downloaded and installed Firefox (latest version), the icon appears in the taskbar, but when I click on it, FireFox does not launch and I always get the same error message. I uninstalled, reinstalled, restarted the PC, but I still have the same problem, even starting from firefox.exe in Windows (C:) >Programs>Mozilla Firefox. Could it be possible that Microsoft is blocking the launch of Mozilla Firefox? Thank you in advance for your help. Attached is a screenshot of the error message. My current install of Firefox seems to be corrupted, because every time i try starting firefox, even in safe mode, it says "Could not load XPCOM". So my only option now is to reinstall, but i have some password and my search history and bookmarks and generall data to backup. So my question is how can i do this. Im on a Windows 10 22H2 Machine, and i am a pretty expirienced computer user.

Good Evening, My company requested a factory restart and I compiled. I am working to restoring my old firefox bookmarks and preferably history/settings. Is there a way to find and restore this data? I am using the same firefox account as before the reset. Thank you.

Also, what are the best practices for backing up my data in the future to easily restore or transfer my settings and bookmarks in the future?

While downloading XLS file from some webpage, it is converting as PDF ( File extension is changing from XLS to PDF) , Same is downloading properly in other browsers

Why is this so difficult? I keep getting the attachment. How do I stop it? I NEVER WANT FIREFOX TO TELL ME THERE IS AN UPDATE. I will check and update when I'm ready. How do I stop this?

I am trying to download a large file. Am on a course, and the main tutor has given the group a file to download. Have tried downloading this 5 times, but get little luck. The file that I would want to download is 8.5GB, and the furthest I get is about 4GB.

I have 2 questions about this.

1) I seem to have a very 'in and out internet connection. It seems to go down at times for no reason, cutting off the download. Is there anything I could do about this? How could I troubleshoot this, please? 2) Does anybody know of any special tools that I can use to download in a more efficient manner, please? Perhaps an extension for Firefox might be able to do this, perhaps? Kind Regards to Anyone Answering this Query, Marek
