Sync just does NOT work. I installed FF on my Mac brand new and fresh... brand new machine. Signed into Sync. NOTHING. After 6-7 HOURS... nothing. It just gets NOTHING AT ALL from my Windows Desktop.

I've signed out of ALL Firefox/Mozilla sync sessions... signed in clean- all browsers are up to date. And the about:sync-log page shows a LONG streak of errors... NON STOP ERRORS.

Why?! Why can't we just sync extensions to install and bookmarks across machines? How is this that hard for Mozilla?!

Day after day and attempt after attempt of failures for a basic function of the browser.

Here is the text of the latest log and showing constant connection errors- mind you NOTHING is breaking on my internet as I'm often streaming things and watching stuff while surfing, or others in the house are. Our connection, and Firefox getting online, are all working fine. I am at a loss. I don't understand how this is so terribly broken out of the box that you can't just sign in and let it talk to their servers. I know Google has billions behind Chrome, but this shouldn't be so 1990's bad by comparison to Chrome sync.

I had to reinstall windows and it wipe Firefox.i didn't know my password so I resetted it. Problem is it wiped all my data. Didn't know changing passwords for forefox would so this. Anyway I can get them back?

Hello there.A couple of days ago my windows pc session creashed.After rebooting i attempted to log on but everything was different.All my bookmarks were disappeared and all my saved pages were not appearing.There was a yellow triangle appearing on the right side of the program mentioning the i was disconnected from my account..I attempted to use my account i used the correct credentials but it Never send me the pin code in order to reauthorize and re access my account. My ios mozilla sessions is operating fine so far and this is the one posting right now! Im looking forward for your reply in order to gain access again on my pc.Thank you!

I have 3 computers (2 desktops, 1 laptop). I want to permanently delete approx 300 unused/unneeded passwords. I deleted them from computer #1, then logged out of Firefox. The new count was 346 passwords.

I went to the second computer, deleted approx the same number from computer #2. The new count was 324 passwords I returned to computer # 1 and logged back into Firefox.

Within a short time, computer #1 is at 759 passwords, and computer 2 is at 691 passwords.

How do I get the deletions to be permanent? It's the second pass at doing this and I'm FRUSTRATED.

I did an hardreset to my computer yesterday, today I logged in to my FireFox account and now all of my stuff (History, Passwords, Bookmarks) are from 2020. I don't have any backup, what do I do?

Hello! I synced my browsing data yesterday by signing in to firefox account and reset my OS(window 10) to improve my laptop's speed. When I am trying to get back my browsing data back after resetting and installing firefox by signing in to my firefox account and pressing the Sync Now button then its not giving me my browsing data back. My Subject pretty well says it. I'm trying to transfer by syncing my desktop Firefox with the Firefox 124 on a newly installed Kubuntu on a new laptop. I have all these functions synced ON. The recent history but not the long-term history, passwords (thank heavens), and all bookmarks got transferred, but not the open tabs/pages. I've done the desktop sync followed by the laptop sync a few times, still without the tabs' transferring. How do i get those transferred?

Hi. I am a graphic designer and Web master. I use your browser since I think it's the best. I did a format of my pc and I forgot the password of my account. So I did forgot password. Thinking all my password would of sync and follow me. But it didn't. I had over 1000 password from site that I have recently work on and some still working on it. Which were most of them auto generate. Which I wouldn't have a clue of any of them. PLEASE Is there a way for me to regret my passwords? Only the password. Please thanks!

I was forced to reformat my computer today and I seem to have lost all of my passwords that were saved in Firefox.

I did not back up any of the files that were on my PC as I was unable to do so. I think I have been able to log back in my account and find my passwords.

When I logged back into my Firefox after re-installing it, my passwords are all gone. I need help!

I’m being advised via emails from Mozilla, to update my browser. It says it’s up to date. A cut off of 31 March has been stated.

My mbp won’t run higher than OS X 10.11.6. Firefox 78.15.0esr the latest browser for my system..afaik. I am on the ESR update channel, and think it updates automatically.

Am I being left high & dry by Mozilla? Something in the emails about syncing…? Not convinced if this is something I should be doing something about or not…

Any advice or insights much appreciated. The suggestion seems to be that I will be shut out without passwords and recovery keys and whole load of inconvenience…? Thanks in advance, Tim

On one laptop right-clicking on a tab gives me a Send tab to device option and when I click on it I get a message that the tab was sent. But the tab doesn't arrive on the other laptop. 2. Though I'm using the same version of Firefox on both laptops, I can only find the send tab option on one laptop because the menus are different. And many of the instructions I see online describe items on the menu that just don't show up. I know that I was once -- I don't know how long ago -- able to send a tab from one laptop to another. Most of the instructions are about sending from a phone to a desktop or vice versa. I hope someone can help. Thank you.
