Hello, I was hoping someone could help explain an odd thing I have been seeing for a split secound while using Firefox. Currently using the newest version of Firefox but have been noticing this happen for the last few months. While using Firefox I will see a white box flash in the upper right of the Firefox window for a few milliseconds.

I had to do a screen recording the slow down the recording down wish was a pain but I did capture it and included a screen grab below. I am running add-on's (Three Ad-Blockers) which I do use day to day but have independently removed them and still see the flashing.

When I click the download button I usually see my recent downloads and click open the file directly from the drop down. After 10-20 downloads are performed the drop down no longer shows my recent files until I restart firefox. I think the issue is once you hit a certain amount of downloads the preview drop down no longer works. Is this a know bug? Its happening on any pc, im on version 104.0.2 (64-bit)

Is there any settings or about:config settings or addons that disable upgrading HTTP to HTTPS for images? I have HTTPS site which redirects from HTTP to HTTPS from server side so I cant visit it on HTTP mode. This HTTPS only site uses external images from HTTP only site that does not speak HTTPS.

Firefox writes in browser console: > Content Security Policy: Upgrading insecure request ‘http://site.com/someimage.jpg’ to use ‘https’

How do I disable this behavior? Any about:config settings or browser addons to get rid of this?

I can download an E-Trade brokerage statement from my DELL LAPTOP, Windows 10 and Firefox ((identical to my Desktop) whereby I can view the pages of the statement , however, from my DESKTOP I cannot download an E=Trade brokerage statement for me to view the pages of the statement.

Below is the address or link for downloading an E=Trade brokerage statement, on my screen, from my DELL LAPTOP, whereby the pages of the statement appear, This is the identical link / address that I copied from my DESKTOP, however the statement does not appear: "Download failed"

On my Firefox (in Linux, at least), doing Ctrl+H toggles the History sidebar (opening it on the left side, or, hiding the sidebar completely).

How can I disable this?

Get "Access Denied" message with trying to login to my "SamsClub.com/Credit" account. I am able to login to the SamsClub account using Safari, but not when using Firefox. Need assistance to remove the Access Denied Block on the Firefox system.

hello !, I formatted my PC and installed FF after that tried to log in but i forgot my password. so i changed it by using forgot password option. but then all my data(Bookmark , password, history...) didn't show up. i tried downgrading but still nothing. Please is there any way that i could get my former data back?

I am using Firefox and I went to the Autoplay option and selected 'Block Audio And Video.'

I have suddenly lost all audio in firefox using youtube. My Audio works fine in windows and i can play and hear all windows sounds, mp3 etc...The audio also works fine in Edge browser and Chrome browser. So it looks like an issue with firefox, The audio is not muted or disabled in any way its just silent when playing back youtube

The uploaded image is not what I expected. There should be an image of my desktop and the text has somewhat background color which supposed to be transparent causing some texts to be cropped. I have Dark Reader extension turned-off since Facebook has it's own dark mode. How to fix this?

I've been having trouble with the Primary Password on Firefox for years. Sometimes it didn't ask me for it at all, sometimes randomly after half an hour and now since a year I've been having to type it in three times in total, before Firefox let's me do my thing. What's really weird: The second time the pop-up comes up there are already some characters in the password field and I have to delete them to start typing my Primary Password anew. But lately it always takes three times of typing in the password, until the pop up doesn't come up again. That's stealing a lot of my time and I have no idea what's the reason or what's causing it.

Can anybody help out?

Recently, files that I download from online have been going into Microsoft's very convenient little folder called, "Downloads."  ::: rolls eyes :::

At first, I chalked this up to being distracted and having not chosen the location to where I wanted something downloaded - I have always preferred downloading to a specific location of my choosing. However today, when I went to download a receipt, and thinking about where the best place was to put it, progress for the download was immediately displayed - I was never presented with a window allowing me to navigate to a location.

When it happened the second time, and finding another file I had downloaded a week ago in the "Downloads" folder, I went into settings. I discovered that under DOWNLOADS, in the box, "Save files to:" it has "Downloads." But below that, I have a checkmark beside, "Always ask you where to save files," as I have always done.

I cannot remove "Downloads" from the box. If I clik the "Browse" button next to that box, my only option would be to pick another location, which of course, will simply become another *permanent* download location.

Shouldn't my checkmark by "Always ask" over-ride what's in the "Save files to" box?

How do I fix this?

Whenever i restart Firefox, my download history gets deleted, but the downloaded files in the file manager don't. I have tried creating new profiles and altering my settings, nothing really works, its the same for all the files, and for all the new profiles i create too. Is there a permanent solution?

When I open a PDF from my email, and try to print, the printed page is only showing an enlarged corner of the document. The I am only getting a portion of the image on PDF's I am printing from Quickbooks as well. It seems to happen only on Firefox. Is there a setting I can change or reset? Thank you

Firefox browser occasionally downloads unknown htm files with 0KB size. If I open the file, what I see is just an empty file opened in firefox browser. I have absolutely no idea why this is happening or in what situation this happens. Has anyone heard of or solved this kind of situation before?

I got this issue when tried to read some API document provided by a marketplace that i have project with. I tried on another browser and it shown normal, not a single text is overlapping. I've tried some suggestion on another topic to pick No Style on Page Style menu (View -> Page Style -> No Style) but it got more messed up and tried changing font size but still got no improvement. Helpp me pls~
