I called the CC help line and I was told their system does not recognize the ZTE. The ZTE comes up on their system as an unknown device. I have no problems using the CC mobile data network on the Huawei U8652 smartphone I bought directly from CC. CC uses the ATT system, so I am not sure where is the hangup.

hello, you may be able to manually enter the settings necessary for a data connection on the FirefoxOS device under settings > cellular & data > advanced/data settings > custom settings. here is the support document that consumer cellular provides for customers who manually configure the connection settings: https://www.consumercellular.com/Support/Knowledgebase/2/42/183?qid=141

so it appears you'll have to enter att.mvno as APN setting.

disclaimer: i neither own a FirefoxOs device nor a customer of this company, so i cannot actually test if this will work or has unintended consequences...
