I had mozilla 3.0.12 for the longest time, and today I get this icon message that there was an update available for it so I clicked on the thing and next thing I know i'ts downloading version 3.0.19. I thought it was an update, not an upgrade. So now when I go to click on the mozilla icon it opens and I get a white page that has a yellow triangle that says network timeout, and I can't connect. So I go to programs/add/remove highlight mozilla, uninstall the 3.0.13 hoping the upgrade will set in and it doesn't so I've lost all my bookmarks etc. How can I get it back? Iam not that computer savy,as you may see for the idiocy I've just committed, but if anyone can help me,I sure would appreciate it,thank you.CarmenO

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox without informing you about that, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.

Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process.
