Why hasn't Firefox updated since April 15? (It's currently the 28th). Things are lagging, primarily on You Tube (for the last 4 or more days), and normally updates don't leave as much time in between updates. Anyone know what's going on? Will it ever update or do I need to leave for another browser?

I made the mistake of clicking a YouTube link via Twitter and now Youtube is convinced my Firefox on my desktop PC is a mobile device. Every tip I see tells me to "just request the desktop version of the site!"; only, that's ONLY a feature in the mobile Firefox app... which I'm NOT using. Every time I go to Youtube's home page: it starts me scrolled down as though it's trying to display on a portrait-mode screen, and only shows 3 videos per row. It's clearly trying to display on a mobile device. If I hold down F5, and force it to refresh for a dozen or so times, for a split second it will display properly before re-setting to mobile mode.

Things I've already done so don't suggest them: - Force refresh teh page - Alreadyd one, didn't work - Clear Website cookies & site data - Already done, didn't work - Restart Firefox - Already done, didn't work - Clear browser cache - Already done, didn't work - Open new private window - Already done, didn't work - Restart Firefox in safe mode - Already done, didn't work - Restore default Firefox theme - Already done, didn't work

The problem apepars to be that Youtube has just reclassified my browser/device as mobile and there's nothing I can do to change it.

This problem started yesterday. The sound in YouTube with Firefox is extremely low. As far as I can tell, the problem doesn't exist elsewhere. Other browers are OK with YouTube and other websites that have sound are OK with Firefox.

I reinstalled Firefox and rebooted the computer - still has the problem.

I'm using Windows 11 24H2 (home) on my desktop.

I can't seem to login to Twitch with the newest version of Firefox on Arch Linux. This was a completely fresh install of Arch and Firefox with no add-ons (on two different machines). Switching user agents doesn't seem to work either.

I have attempted to sign in to MyHealtheVet.gov 3 or 4 times over as many hours. Every instance has encountered the same message "Secure Connection Failed. This is the Verterans Administration website and find it hard to believe their website is not secure. I'm not a computer geek, far from it, hence utilizing this method of contact. Every day Firefox logs me out and I'm required to go thru the whole sign in process again. Have been using Firefox for many years and never had this issue until the past 3-4 months. In the past, each time I opened Firefox I was connected/signed in to my account and my commonly used websites recognized me. Recently has become a major hassle and strongly considering using another default browser that will not have these issues, but would prefer to continue with Firefox if it would consistently maintain my account staying sign in.

We've changed WiFi providers from Comcast to a fiberoptic system that gives us a 2.4 network and a 5G one. For both networks, Firefox will allow some websites to load, some of the time, but not all of the time and usually it won't bother with images. For other websites, the connection just times out completely. If I switch back to the older Comcast networks, the Internet works without issue, but those networks won't be available for much longer. Firefox on my phone is doing fine, but it's like this when I try my old laptop, too.

I have gone through this article. Made sure Firefox can get through the firewall. Poked at the proxy server settings; nothing changes whether it's off, auto-detect, or using system proxy settings. Disabled IPv6. Disabled DNS Prefetching. Cleared my cookies and history. Checked for malware. Gone into Troubleshoot mode to see if it's an extension. Nothing helps!

AFTER 137.0.2 EVERY TIME I START FF ALL MY PREVIOUS TABS ARE GONE AND I BACK TO THE TOUR SCREEN. ANYONE KNOW HOW TO FIX THIS, BESIDES SWITCHING TO ANOTHER BROWSER?

Hello, I use Firefox Containers and, for better accessibility (I struggle with finding the right container as is), I would like to be able to re-order them alphabetically at least, if not also by color, icon, or other useful factors. Is there a way to do this currently? If not, is it in the works? If not, can you help put it in the pipeline, please? Best regards, Henry

I use Zen Browser, and since updating my MacBook to the latest OS, Seqouia, my Zen Browser iCloud Passwords extension doesn't work. I'm prompted to update my MacOS to Sonoma or newer, which I've, of course, done. I'm wondering if there is a workaround or if this is simply a bug that needs fixing.

Whenever I highlight text on a website and right click a popup appears enabling an automatic search for that highlighted text. But that search sends me to Ecosia's website. A great cause, but I'd prefer to choose my own instead of Mozilla doing so for me.

How do I either: 1. Change that context right click search default search engine (please note not a provider search engine in settings. I mean right click activated searches only).

2. Or remove Ecosia search from it completely.

I do not have any Ecosia extentions installed. I also have gone into config:about and not found where this right click functionality in Firefox is.

After updating firefox from 128.8.0 to 128.9.0, no embedded videos will play (youtube, instagram, plex, etc...)

The only way to get them to play is to run the browser in troubleshoot mode. Even a fresh browser profile doesn't work. Disabling hardware acceleration also does not work. Tried firefox 137.0.2 and that also does not work. Downgraded back to 128.8.0 and videos play flawlessly again.

I'm running firefox on gentoo linux on a thinkpad x13s (arm64) which uses Qualcomm Adreno 690 graphics.

Anything I should try would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
