Hi gabigab,

I'm sorry to hear that you are having difficulties setting up the Mail application in your Firefox OS device to access your Orange email account.

What is the Firefox OS device model and version that you are currently using?

I don't understand French very well, but with the help of Google Translate, it seems that these are the correct settings for your email provider, please ensure that these are set correctly in the manual configuration of your Mail app:

  • Please ensure that your full email address and password are typed in correctly.
  • IMAP Settings:
    • Username: Your username for your Orange account. Some providers require your full email address to be used as your username.
    • Address: imap.orange.fr
    • SSL
    • Port: 993
  • SMTP Settings:
    • Username: Your username for your Orange account. Some providers require your full email address to be used as your username.
    • Address: smtp.orange.fr
    • SSL
    • Port: 465

If you are still unable to configure your Mail app with these settings, please ensure that you are able to connect to it through another email client such as Thunderbird or through the Webmail, if Orange provides this service.

We hope that this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Thanks!!

- Ralph
