For the past year, FireFox just keeps getting worse and worse and it's reached the point where I have to stop recommending it. And Chrome seems to be the horse to bet on.

It's become bloated (even without plugins). With just Firebug and Developer Tools added, I get repeated warnings on my Lenovo T530 that it is the only memory hog on the computer.

It has bugs that IE & Chrome doesn't have. (Issue with selecting radio buttons being one.)

Come on guys! Have you lost the plot or are you going to ull it together again before we desert you?

Try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

See "Basic Troubleshooting: Make a new profile":

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.

If the new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile, but be careful not to copy corrupted files.
