Using Windows Vista, I have upgraded to Firefox 7 and before it opens I have a yellow screen, can anybody tell me why.
I have been using Firefox for sometime and never had a problem. I have upgraded to Firefox 7 and when I open it, my screen turns a bright yellow. It is there for a couple of seconds and then Firefox opens. I am using Windows Vista. Can anybody explain why this is happening. I have been uninstalling version 7 and reverting to 6 but the annoying thing with that is that when I open I get a message saying I am not on the latest version do I want to continue. Anybody else having this problem? Thanks.

That may be related to Firefox switching to hardware acceleration.
If the screen buffer that is used isn't empty then you may see older content of it displayed until that screen buffer is cleared.
- Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"
Thank you for your reply. Have tried your suggestion but it is still the same.
I'm getting this too, it's horrible. It's almost like the actual background colour of Firefox has been changed. It's the same hideous mustard colour every time, which only goes away once the browser has loaded.
