I have Firefox 3.6, but it's been happening for every version I can remember there being an option for it.

When I save a file, especially .torrent files(like the ones often used to download official game patches).

I click to download the file, and the save file box opens up asking what to do with it.

So I select open (utorrent is already set as the default application so that's ok), then click the Do this automatically box, then click ok.

The file loads in utorrent without a problem.

Now later I try to download another file of the same type (.torrent in this example). the problem is the dialog pops up again! What's worse is the do this automatically box is already ticked!

It's like Firefox half remembers what it's supposed to be doing. And it's very annoying.
