I do not have a sync tab in my preferences so I can sync with MyTouch where I just loaded Firefox beta 4.

For Firefox 3.6.13 you need to install the Firefox Sync extension to get the Sync tab in preferences. It is available from https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/firefox-sync/
