when I download a word doc it comes as read only even though it hasn't been sent as that so how do I change it?
When I download an unlocked Word doc via Firefox/Yahoo it arrives in my system as 'read only' even though it hasn't been sent that way. If I change back to Internet Explorer/Yahoo and download the same doc, it arrives without the 'read only' lock and can be worked on. How do I free up the downloads from Firefox/Yahoo?

Is it an Office thing, document originated from the Internet?.. Screenshot attached.
Doesn't resemble the sample screen pic - looks like a regular download except the name of the doc has 'read only' tagged on the end. Sorry I can't be more clear, I am computer-illiterate in a lot of matters.
