Firefox won't recognize hyperlinks in PeoplePC Webmail message text

When I paste or type in a hyperlink in the body of an email, Internet Explorer recognizes it, and it arrives at the receiver's computer as a hyperlink, which he or she can click on to bring up the web page.

With Firefox, it just arrives as text, and if the person wants to look at the web page it links to, they have to copy it to the window at the top of another browser window.

Can this be fixed, so that Firefox will recognize the hyperlink automatically, and send it as such?
