Since I upgraded to FF 3.6.12, it won't allow meto stay logged in to websites with passwords. I get kicked out if I click on any button or link.
After I login to a website, after I click on a link or button, I automatically get kicked back to the login page. I also can't register on the site with different login information.

Make sure that you allow cookies: Enhanced Tracking Protection in Firefox for desktop
Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
- "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
- "Remove the Cookies" from sites causing problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
If clearing the cookies doesn't help then it is possible that the file cookies.sqlite that stores the cookies is corrupted.
Rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite and cookies.txt, if they exist, in the Profile Folder in case cookies.sqlite got corrupted.
