I need to use BMW university (ICP) to view training videos. I use Linux (Linux mint 9) and Firefox. I can view them using the computers at work which of course are windows and have internet explorer. I have emailed BMW about this but they seem to be unwilling to change anything. Anyway. I use Adobe flash and Sun Java, the latest versions and have all the correct plugins. Firefox will work on every other site. I tried using Opera but I got an error message saying my Browser doesn't use Dynamic html, so I quit Opera. I love using Firefox and would love to have it work on this site. I can't give you the URL for the site as it is protected and the property of BMW. I don't know what to try to get it working, maybe it will never work, maybe there is proprietary windows stuff built into the site and it just wont work with Linux or Firefox.

What kind of content is that?

Are that Flash videos?

You have the Flash player, so if it is Flash then it should work.

Which player do you see if you right-click on it in IE ?

The format of the video I think is a windows media file. I would need to check at work on a work computer to be sure and go from there.

For WMP files you can use the Gecko Media player on Linux.
